Pair French 18th century Louise XV pier mirror, gilt and patinated Polychrome pale green painted on wood, 40" high, 15" wide, 1 1/2" deep, with carved low relief gold fluted decorated frame on top. Mirror plate is one(1) piece with blackened spots(picture shows horizontal line near the bottom area which is reflection of the room background), and backing is original wooden boards with square steel nails. An antique Japanese Biraki Kotansu (small chest with two hinged doors) made entirely of Kiri (Paulownia) wood. All original hand forged iron hardware and Urushi lacquer finish. The doors open to a set of 7 drawers of varying sizes. It would make the perfect side chest or bedside nightstand.
