Tlatilco Pottery Figure Mexico Figure with Double Spouted Headdress. Circa. 200 B.C. – 100 A.D. 8" high. Hollow pottery example. This a pre-classic seated figure having a double spouted headdress. Loss to one spout and tip of left arm, otherwise intact.

Huge Rare Pre Columbian Near life size Nayarit half face sculpture fragment. Fantastic piece perfectly broken showing half of a warriors geometric painted face in red and white with extensive black dendrite deposits. The mask made of a polychromed stucco burnished finish. Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta Nose. Unique piece it was not from a figure but made as is . Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This nose was made as a single piece perhaps as an offering as the Etruscans did.
