Mesa Verde Black on White Very large Oval pouring bowl 1050 to 1150 ad., it has no restoration. It is a large 5-1/2"high X 11"long X 8-1/2"wide. It is broken and re-glued, it is missing a couple shards per pictures. I acquired this in a trade with a friend. All my items are guaranteed to be authentic and as described.

Two offering vessels in the shape of an Alpaca, carved from natural stone. In the back a chamber is drilled; it was filled with llama fat or coca leaves. These votive figures were left in the fields as an offering to the Earth goddess Pachamama. H. 6 cm. Dating from the 15th/16th century. Ex Dick Meijer, Amsterdam.

Hohokam carved red basalt effigy big horn sheep ca. 650 ad. No Restoration, In as found condition with excellent ground deposits. The Hohokam seemed to use the red basalt for stone ceremonial effigies and objects but the red basalt was harder and rarer for them to find than the black basalt. This is a fine carved effigy of a big horn sheep which the Hohokam prized due to most likely how hard they were to hunt and kill. I would imagine you were at the top of the hunting game to bag a big horn...

Rare c.1880-1890 Numerous reproductions exist. This is one of the few real 1900 century mermaids that this gallery has seen. Excellent condition. Some rust as expected. Some paint loss. 9.5" length.

Rare Antique Pre-Colombian Tairona Culture c. AD 900 – 1550. Burnished earthenware “four” holed effigy ocarina in the form of a deity wearing a long dress and a tall elaborate ceremonial headdress, seated on a Double-headed Serpent Throne. The blowhole is found on the top of the deity’s headdress.
CONDITION: good overall condition except for one minor crack on the back, minor chips, showing the age and usage with traces of earthen deposits, showing the age and usage...

This is a very nice group of petrified wood points. The longest is 2 3/4". All are "early man" points except the 4th one. It is made from opalized wood and is a Samantha. Will consider selling separately.

Mayan terracotta head of a parrot with red paint decoration , fantastic detail and unique in the fact that on each side there are holes so this piece would have been move able on whatever it had been attached to , complete in its self. Size L 3.5" W 2" H 2.5"

This is an extroadinarily rare Aztec ceramic pipe. There are only 3 others of this earliest type known to exist. It was found by Dr. Allen Heflin on 12/2/60 in Cuautitlan, Mexico. The end of the stem has been broken off and appears to have been glued back on. This is not the prettiest of the 4 pipes I have listed, but it is the oldest likened unto Paleo vs. Archaic. I have what I believe to be the largest and finest collection of Aztec pipes in private hands.
