Peru Moche culture 200 bc-700 ad very rare solid copper beads . With a total of 19 pieces they seem to be all solid copper and many of the beads have designs such as birds, geometrics, melon shapes circles dots and edge trim designs. This is the only bone scalloped triskele gorget known to exist. I purchased it on 8-1-92 from Who's Who, Duke Snider, who purchased it from Tom Davis. It is a whopping 4 1/2 inches in diameter. This is one of the finest Columbia River Gem Points known to exist. It may be the finest Gunther Barbed/Rogue River ever found. It is the largest example I have ever seen. It is a huge 2 3/4" long. It is made from the finest quality translucent moonstone white agate. It has beautiful patina. The tip and barbs are perfect, not even a spider bite anywhere on the piece. It is a G-10+. A coin silver cigar band with a primitive, stamped, coin-silver button ring, circa 1890-1900. Similar examples of this button can be found in, "Indian Silver Jewelery of the Southwest 1868-1930," by Larry Frank. Page 66, item 68 shows a very similar set of six stamped buttons with a high domed centers circa 1890s, found at Hopi in 1911.

A fine and early Canadian East Coast native ash splint market basket made around 1900, possibly a little earlier. This basket stands 10-3/4" high with the handle and it measures 11-3/4" x 10-7/8" across the mouth; it is in excellent original condition with no damage or repairs other than a stained area with some minor losses on the interior bottom of the basket. Although just a fragment, the imagery is outstanding in this substantial gray pottery piece. Molded and carved, it depicts two seated chieftains facing one another over a table (?) resting on a skull. The imagery is crisp and clear. The piece measures 6" X 2-5/8", while the image itself is 4" in width by 1-3/4". Dating to the 5th - 8th century AD.

These are five extremely rare copper skull bells/pendants that were found in an elite tomb at Monte Alban, Oaxaca in 1936. Each bell in about 1/2". They date to 1000-1500AD. Copper was mined largely from Guerrero. No cleaning or restoration, exactly as found. A must have for any pre-Columbian metallurgy collection.

It is broken and re-glued, it is missing a couple shards per pictures. I acquired this in a trade with a friend. All my items are guaranteed to be authentic and as described.

A Teotihuacan stone figure made of a spinach colored green stone. A typical rigid body with squared-off shoulders, straight arms draped to the hips with incisions to denote fingers and toes, a flattened head marked by deep crescent in-cut eyes and mouth. It is drilled at the nose and through the earrings and wears a rectangular peaked cap. Measures 8" in height and on a presentation stand. Provenance: Leonard Kaplan Collection, Laguna Beach, CA.

Of the over 10,000 artifacts that the late world famous Dr. Allen Heflin found, this little miniature hand-molded ceramic figurine ranks among the rarest. It is from the unattributed Preclassic Period, C1200-900BC. It is 1 7/8" long and in superb condition except for a small ding to the left breast. It still has traces of red pigment. Heflin found this little treasure on 8-12-60 and is so marked on the back. It is from Cuautitlan. She is wearing ear spools.
