The rock contains an inscription which generally reads "Along with similar joyous and pure things". Antique Chinese black lacquer six-panel screen, with red and gold leaf lacquer "venn diagram" patterns as a background. Each panel has gorgeous hardstone inlaid birds of many kinds (including peacocks, roosters, sparrows, water birds, and robins), and an abundance of flora such as lotuses and chrysanthemums, accented with gold leaf. 18C Chinese domed jade plaque carved in low relief with Buddhist auspicious symbols. Color is a whitish pale celadon. It is carved very, very thin with two sets of small holes to the back edge. This may have been attached to clothing or fabric or, perhaps, attached to a large ruyi scepter. Condition is excellent and it is wonderfully translucent. Measures: 4" x 3.25".

This is an authentic neolithic nephrite jade adze/chisel, measuring some 9" (22cm) in length and 1" (2.5cm) in width. A heavy, substantial piece, guaranteed ancient. The stone is a beautiful deep green with substantial dark inclusions. The tapered end shows apparent signs of use.

A nicely carved jadeite plaque, featuring all three colors of the jadeite palette: light green, brown, and hints of lavender. Both sides feature a Qing-style landscape of a deer traversing a mountainous landscape. Can be worn as a necklace pendant.

Pair Chinese Rose Quartz hardstone carved Foo Lions on carved hardwood stands, 19th century, 3 3/4" high with stand and 2 3/4" high without stand, 3 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" deep, with open mouth. There are some natural grains and infusions on the tail and head area. Round hole on the bottom and also on the stand, and tiny chips on the front paw area.

Small Chinese Bi-form white jade ornament in the Mughal manner with cupped chrysanthemum petals in three, concentric, graduated circles surrounding a cross-hatched, pierced center. The flat verso cupped slightly toward the face along the rim, with small drilling (exhibiting hand craftsmanship) either side of the central aperture and with the surface exhibiting natural texture of the hand worked surface. Qing dynasty. Good condition. Diameter 2 1/8 inches.

Superb chinese fluorite carving of Guanyin with a weight of 2,1 kg, made around 1750. It is Jade green in areas and almost clear in others and it shows the numerous flaws running through so stone typical of so-called green quartz (actually fluorite). It is raised on a hardwood stand, which is forming the torso of the Guanyin.

Wonderful and unusual display piece with a cubistic aesthetic - definitely singular.

17th Century Chinese Celadon Color Jade Deep Carved Plaque with Duck on Wood Stand

It is 5.3 inches (13.5 cm) tall by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide measured with stand. The plaque is 3.1 inches (8 cm) in length by 3.9 inches (10 cm) wide. It is 179.2 gram including stand.

It has small chips, inclusions, and the plaque is glued to the stand (as seen in the photos).

A beautifully colored mottled nephrite jade disc (sword-pommel) in colors of cream, rust and grey. In the center is a small hole encircled by flower petals. A double-lined rim borders the outer rim of the petals. A band of C-curl patterns extend to the double-lined outer rim. Late Qing to early Republic Chinese carved agate lidded vase. Colors include a multi color orange, reddish brown and natural tone that was carved with nice details and open work. The lid and vase are nicely hollowed inside. The birds are fly catchers amongst flowers stems and leaves showing some stunning markings. The lid is so neat with another bird nestled in a flowered stem. The surfaces having a superb polish and fine incised details makes the vase a very showy piece...

A rare 17th Century (probably late Ming) carving of the Hehe Erxian - the Twin Immortals of Union and Harmony - in typical pose, one holding a basket and the other holding its 'contents' - a bat a symbol of happiness. A well-carved nephrite jade plaque depicting a coiled, sinuous dragon paired with a phoenix and spiral-incised "bi" disc. The phoenix and "bi" disc have been covered with a gold lacuer gilding. Intricate, flowing spiral decoration covers the dragon's body and the disc. The piece measures 3-3/4" end to end and is, as best I can tell, made entirely without the use of modern cutting tools...
