This attractive pear-shaped vase was made during the Southern Song Dynasty (AD 1127 - 1279), most likely at one of the kilns in Fujian province. Description:
A black-glazed ewer was finely mold with a chicken-head on the spout.
The glaze was in greasy-feel condition when time-enduring crackles were yielded.

Superb elegant shaped of blue and white, well balance potted and decorated with open mouth Dragon on the body and with three claws , the upper side with a pair of dragons face to face with the center of diaper pattern mouth rim above lotus flower head. Condition is very good excepted chips on the horn of dragons, the glazed is gone due to excavated piece on South Sulawesi. No any cracks, free from any restoration and no any other chip.
