Fine Chinese Ming Dynasty Blue & White Porcelain Brush Washer

This attractive small porcelain jar, a brush washer, was made during the late 15th to early 16th century. It is relatively heavily-potted and decorated in underglaze blue of very good colour with a pattern featuring scrolling lotus blossoms. Both inner and outer surfaces are coated in a thick glaze. The foot and recessed flat base remain unglazed.

Chinese Oxblood Monochrome Porcelain Vase with Kangxi inscription on base. Beautifully rendered with rich red tones and exact glaze flow pattern. Most likely 19th century or early 20th century.

A very rare Song dynasty celadon Guan type large bowl, rounded side with deep center and glazed base, bowl decorated with raising lotus petal motif at exterior, crackled glaze and covered with grayish green glaze.
Bowl is in good condition no chip, no crack, no restoration, there is an original short line from kiln firing at the rim.
Size: 20.5 cm diameter.

Chinese Song dynasty longquan celadon dish. 17 cm diameter. Good condition except very smooth hairline at the center.

A rare Ming blue and white Dish decorated with scholar or riders and landscape motive at the center and Chinese character at inner wall. and flowers on outer wall. Good conditions with just has tiny chipped at the rim, no hair lines,and free from any restorations.21cm diameter.

A Yuan Qingbai Ewer. Height approximately 8.8 cm and length approximately 10.2 cm (the tipspout to the handle). The handle has been glued with original part. Few soft tiny chips at the rim. A soft tiny chip at the tipspout. Good condition.

Chinese Blue and White Dish decorated in underglaze blue with a Dutch river scene. A copy of the Japanese Arita C1700 dishes decorated with a version of the design by the Dutch Delft decorator Frederik Van Frytom. The English Bow factory also copied this design in the mid 18thC. Qianlong C1740/50. Diameter 4 3/4" (12.1cm) Perfect condition.

Antique Chinese porcelain brush washer in the form of an opening lotus blossom. On one side is a pair of bats and on the other lingzhi mushrooms. Delicately carved and glazed white with brown, orange and gold over painting. Very subtle purple and green high lights on the tips of the lotus petals. Sits on a hardwood stand intricately carved with more bats and lingzhi. Daoguang Period (1821-1850)

Chinese Famille Jaune porcelain ginger Jar, 8 1/4" high, 8 1/4" wide-widest part, 3 3/4" diameter-top rim, 6 3/4" diameter-bottom rim, Ca. later part of 1800's, Thick Polychrome overglaze design of Peony flowers and vines on the entire body with Chinese Character within four(4) round Cartoches. Star crack on the bottom, and stained over the years, scratch on the glaze on the raised decorated area.

Found in the Philippines. Vase with a globular body rising from slightly splayed feet onto a waisted neck, flaring to a petalled rim and its base is fully unglazed. A similar example can be seen in the book “Chinese and South-East Asian White Ware Found in the Philippines” by: The Oriental Ceramic Society of the Philippines, on page: 71;24...

A Chinese “Master of the Rocks” Saucer Dish, Kangxi, late 17th century. Typically, the decoration relies heavily on the techniques of contemporary ink painters with attention to naturalistic detail and various wet brush effects. The border of waterweed-like fronds appears on many such Master of the Rocks ceramics. The back is entirely plain.
