This is a rare example of a Puddingstone, not only because of its form, but also, because of the color, shape, and texture of the particles that make up the stone.
A bottle of similar form may be found in Steven's 'The Collector's book of Snuff Bottles" #618, minus the mask handles, which he dates to late 18th, early 19th centuries...
This is a very fine Qing Dynasty period, well-hallowed Dendritic Chalcedony Snuff Bottle of circular bulbous form, with a high neck, a flat wide lip, and an oval foot rim surrounding a shallowly recessed flat foot. The translucent stone has an abstract mottled pattern of brown and white macaroni and eye forms surrounding bursts of white and cream colored patterns on one side, and a mushroom-like silhouette made up of brown dots on the reverse, over a grayish tone ground...

This milky glass bottle is applied with four colors of glass and carved in relief with the symbols of the eight Taoist immortals. The sides have carved bat handles in black glass and the interior is well-hollowed. The stopper is pale whitish jade with a small apple-green splash. It is in good condition. Acquired in Norfolk, VA in the mid 1980s.

This is Mutton-Fat White Jade Snuf Bottle of flattened, upright rectangular form with rounded, sloping shoulders, rounded neck, with a raised elongated oval footing. Undecorated, but, perfectly polished, and sporting a wonderful symmetry all around, and an even, near-flawless bright tone all throughout. Well-hollowed. This is a very rare and excellently made Chinese Snuff Bottle made with a mosaic of multicolor inlaid jadaite with overlay Mother of Pearl depicting a monkey underneath a flowering tree, with matching jadeite domed stopper. The base incised with the Qianlong reign mark. Wonderful preserved condition.
