A Northern Chinese, Cizhou-type, black glazed jar; C12-13th, Northern Song-Jin dynasty...

This is a greenish glazed bowl dated to the Northern Song Dynasty. It stands on a short foot rim with a recess base.

The bowl is in very good conditions with the glaze intact.

The height of the green glazed bowl is 6.0cm and the diameter is 15.4cm.

A green glazed "celadon" stoneware vase with flattened pear-shaped body,ring handles and moulded decoration made in the Longquan kilns, Zhejiang province in the 14th Century, during the Yuan dynasty (1279-1368). On each side of the vase are six-lobed cartouches containing the Chinese characters "shou" (longevity) and "fu" (prosperity). A beautiful Tang dynasty changsa stoneware bowl with an abstract plant/weed motive, with long thin leaves all painted in green and iron brown colour. A very rare Jianyang temmoku wine jar of Song dynasty (11th to 12th century) that has the characteristic black body clay, traces of burial earth are left intact around the handle and mouth areas of the vase for authentication purposes. The typical thick black glaze with the aforementioned black body clay, clearly designates the origin about 230 km from Jingdezhen in the region of Jiangxi province. Condition is very good without any hairlines, chips, or repairs...

Tall Chinese Song dynasty brown glazed tapering form horizontal ribbed vase. The glaze was poured into the interior while the top shoulder of the jar was left unglazed. 14” high. Circa 13th century. The unglazed base has significant grit adhering from the kiln which causes the vase to be slightly slanted and a bit unstable. There are small chips along the rolled mouth. The form of this vase would eventually develop into the better known meiping vase...

A Chinese, qingbai, bowl incised with a sponaneous 4floral design; Song dynasty. The rim of the bowl is notched to give the impression of six petals. Overall covered in a greenish glaze, except for the outer base and foot-rim. Likely from Fujian province. Dimensions; 17.8 cm diameter. Condition; there is some wear to the glaze, a few small rim chips, and a couple of short hairlines from the rim. It has a resonant tone when tapped.

Chinese Green Foo Dog Stoneware Joss Stick Holder, 9 1/2" high, 3 1/4" wide, 4 3/4" deep, loose ball inside Foo Dog's mouth, hole in the backside of the head is for the Joss Stick, the condition is good, some loose green glazes around corners of the square base.

Song Qingbai bowl with high foot rim and thick classic aquamarine Qingbai glaze, there is a 1cm hairline off the mouthrim (noted in last enlargement) otherwise good condition. The glaze is absolutely fabulous. D: 14cm/5.5in and H: 7cm/2.8in

This is a large ceramic pillow in the form of a cat, done in cream and brown colors, in old Cizhou Kiln style. The ceramic cat pillow measures about 13" long x 7" tall, and dates to the turn of the 20th Century. There is a Chinese "Cultural Properties" wax stamp on the cat's back. A Southern Chinese or Vietnamese bowl, covered all-over with a pale celadon glaze. This bowl dates to the C14-15th; or before. Quite delicately potted; gently rising from it's low, unglazed, foot to a slightly everted rim. Diameter; 13.5 cm. Condition; In presentable condition wih nice glaze qulaity, there are a couple of small nibble to the underside of the rim, and also the the foot. More photos are available upon request.
