Description:
This is a Ming dynasty small ribbed longquan dish. It stands on a shallow recessed footrim showing the orngish burn ungaled recess. From the foot rim, it everted stright upward with a ribbed outer body. In the center of the dish, there is a faint outline of an impressed single stalk of lotus flower.

Condition:
Fine condition. No chip, crack, restoration or repair...

This is a Yuan Dynasty(1277-1367) celadon covered box. The top cover has a double circle with radiating club shaped like a sun ray all round. Just below it, is the design of foliage circling the all round. The flower part of the covered box also has foliage design design followed by a club shaped motif. The colour of the top half is lighter than the lower half of the covered box.

The covered box has minor abrasion and minute pinholes. No chip, crack, repair or restoration...

This is a small Ming dynasty longquan or celadon vase. The longquan vase stand on a short foot rim with a recessed base. The outer footrim is slightly shaved inward. From the footrim, it everted upward into a bulbous body and then narrow upward to a long thin neck with a slightly widen rim mouth. Longquan vase of such shape is harder to come by compared to the longquan/celadon plate or bowl.

This is a Song dynasty small green glazed earthenware ewer. It is melon shped with 2 small ears resting on the shoulder. The base show a very light greyish clay colour.

The dimension of the ewer is: the height is 10.3cm and the width is 10.6cm.

Generall in good condition with minor abrasion. No restoration, repair chip, crack or glaze chipping.

This is a Ming dynasty funerary sancai glazed horse.

There are no repair, restoration or chip. As a funerary horse object, a certain degree of abrasion, wear, soil calcificatio and degradation can be expected.The decolouralisation, abrasion, degradation and calcification can be seen in the photographs.

The height of the funerary horse is 20.6cm, the length is 20.75cm and the width is 10cm.

A Northern Chinese, Cizhou-type, black glazed jar; C12-13th, Northern Song-Jin dynasty. The jar of ovoid form rising to a short neck, the body applied with evenly-spaced groups of three raised vertical trails of white slip, the shoulders set with a pair of strap handles, covered overall in a black glaze thinning to a a cream colour on the raised ribs and stopping short of the foot exposing the buff-coloured body. Quadrangular vase in very thick and heavy porcelain stoneware covered with pâle blue glaze (Jun?)splashed with yellowish-brown stains (oil spots?). Interior also glazed. 118x50x75 mm Good condition, slight usual wear, no cracks or restoration. Cooking defects at the corners of the base. Possibly Jun with oil spot of the song period.

Statuette of a Chinese deity, probably Guan-yin. It is carved from a block of light beige, nuanced soapstone. She holds a basket in her hand which contains a fish. The facial expression indicates an old style prior to the 20th century. It is a sculpture from the Qing period, probably from the 19th century, but perhaps earlier. This tea pot is inscribed with Chinese characters on one side, and has a bamboo motif incised on the opposite side. The handle and spout are sculpted to represent knotty tree limbs, and the lid is carved with leaves and stems. The maker's seal is impressed on the interior of the lid. It is in good condition and was acquired from my grandmother's antique shop in the mid 1960s.

Description: A rare tripod steatite censer was made in Tang dynasty. With dark gray tone, this censer was excavated with light gray incursions. A globular body was held by three foot in beautiful proportions. An earlier collection was published in " Early Chinese Miniature" by China Institute in America. This is a nice small southern Song dynasty (1127-1279) qingpai funerary grain storage house. It stands on a slightly short footrim with a recess base. The outer ring of the footrim is shaved inward. This is a small Ming dynasty celadon or longquan vertically ribbed jarlet.

The dimension is as follows: The height is 7.4cm and thw width is 7.4cm.

It is in good condition.. A manufacturing crack (picture 6)at the base which show through the inside of the jarlet base as well. No damanage, restoration, repair or chip. Minor abrasion and manufacturing fault.
