It is 17.85 inches (45.5 cm) tall by 12 inches (30.8 cm) wide. It is 18.9 Lb.
It is in good condition with no repair, except the peahen is missing her crest and her tail is bent at the end. The flower branch between the rocks is loose. There are also small chips at the flower petals. There are small chips and cracks at the base...
A small beaker form vase of square section with vertical barbed halberd shaped vertical flanges dating to the Meji period. The decoration rather than cast has been cold chiselled in “Chinese style”. The upper register contains four seasonal vignettes, Spring Ume ni Egisu, Bush warbler and Plum blosson, Summer, Botan ni Kiji, Autumn Maple and Deer, Shika Momiji-zu, and Winter, Pine and Cranes, Matsu ni Tsuru...
Rare bronze ewer Japan Muromachi period, cast in one part. Signature of the artist incised under the base. This type of ewer is very rare, we know only one other similar example, smaller and less elaborate which is housed at the Minneapolis institute (usa). Excellent state of conservation, beautiful original patina.

An e-kagami of very small proportions 69.4mm (2.73 inches) in diameter, and 12.2cm (4.8 inches) weighing 51gm. Decorated with a sand textured ground and Hares, usage, leaping over stylised waves, nami,in this example taking the form of ryusuimon in which there is a reflection of a crescent moon. The mirror is signed Fujiwara and probably dates to the late seventeenth century, Mid Edo period. For condition see photos, some wear and minor corrosion. Worldwide shipping at Cost.
Bronze okimono depicting the study of a powerful tiger in a furtive position.
The animal is represented with its legs bent, its tail curled upwards and its body in a lowered position just before launching the attack.
The streaks of the fur, typical of the animal, are depicted in a masterful way and highlighted with a marked engraving.
This okimono is signed Hideyoshi 秀義 under the belly.

Unusual original Japanese flint lighter netsuke. Constructed of iron and brass, this piece would have been used to create a steady fame in less then perfect conditions. The striker would create contact friction and create a spark igniting the fuel source. Firearms at this time required a flame in order to ignite the fuse. Original russet patina with all parts still intact.

Antique Japanese bronze Buddhist temple lantern. The finial is a flaming jewel and the corners of the roof are hung with bells. A dragon is coiled around the lower portion of the lantern stand. Many areas are decorated with colorful cloisonné clouds, flowers and cranes. Electrified.

Charming Antique Japanese iron lantern with imagery of crossing stalks of bamboo on its sides and a wide brimmed top. The front opens by raising the latch so candles may be placed inside.

The mask is of dark brown russet lacquer finish and the interior is smoothed lacquered red. The high jaw his two protrusion hooks for strapping the cords, underneath the chin is a vent hole. The mask is fitted with yodare kare of three row of false scale lace and blue silk.
