Thai 14th - 15th Century Sawankhalok Celadon Bowl (20cm)

This stoneware bowl was made at the Sawankhalok kilns around the 14th - 15th century. It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a finely-crackled translucent olive-green celadon glaze. The inner surface has been elaborately decorated with incised parallel bands and vertical lines, with surface decoration also to the flared rim.. The base remains unglazed revealing the pale grey stoneware body...

Terracotta votive plate depicting six seated Buddhist deities surmounting four smaller ones. Thailand, Khmer period known as Lopburi, 12-14th century. 91 mm high x 68 mm wide x 17 mm thick. The plate is nicely mounted on a custom stand. Abrasion due to great age, otherwise very good condition.

Found in the Philippines. Featuring a covered box in double hamsa (sacred goose) form with an underglaze blue decoration of lines and patterns, making its feathers. Measurements: height 3.1"inches, width 4"inches. Condition: excellent condition. A Rare and Genuine Antique Enamelled BENCHARONG-BENJARONG DOMED COVERED BOWL with a jewel knob/finial; decorated with 5 colors of enamel depicting alternating Budhhist Deities against a black background with flame pattern (Famille Noire). Bencharong signifies 5 colors. Size: height 3 5/8" (9.75 cm.). Provenance: Old Private Collection in Maryland, USA.

Jarlet or bottle, with two ring handles, carved footring with dropped base, celadon glaze on brownish body. Traces of soil encrustations in some areas. Thailand, Sawankhalok kilns, ca. 14th to mid-16th centuries. Height: 4 1/2" (11,2 cm). Very good condition.

A Thai Sawankhalok Covered Box. Diameter approximately 13.7 cm and height approximately 7.5 cm. The box has several small chips at the rim/the base . Good condition.

A VERY RARE SONG PERIOD, SAWANGKALOKE-SISACHANALAI, SIAMESE-THAI, IRON BROWN GLAZED SMALL MEDICINE BOTTLE. 14-16th Century. Has 2 intact loops as well as incised ringed ribbing. Good overall condition, no cracks, hairlines nor restorations. One inconsequential nick on the lip. Size: height 8cm. VERY RARE ITEM!

A most attractive Genuine Antique Enamelled BENCHARONG-BENJARONG BOWL, made in China by special order from the Court and Nobility of Siam, 19th Century. BENCHARONG signifies 5 colors. This superb bowl has a bronze rim band. Good condition considering the age, one small inconsequential hairline. Size: 4 1/2" (11 cm.)
