3 vintage 1940's sterling silver bracelets designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar (1905-86). Each bracelet measures 2 1/2" in diameter. The matching pair each measure 1/8" wide. The third bangle is 1/4" wide. All hallmarked HA TAXCO. Two are marked 990. The third marked 940. The combined weight of the 3 is 63 grams, 2.02 oz. A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. The bracelet is 6 3/4" around in the inside and 1 1/8" wide at the front.It weighs 60 grams.Signed for vintage Sigi Pineda as shown. A really special bracelet from this great designer.

An exquisite sterling and moonstone bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. A have never seen this Antonio design before and believe it to be quite rare. There are moonstones bezel set within each of the 10 links of the bracelet. This bracelet is solid at 84 grams and measures 6 3/4" around in the inside when clasped. It is 3/4" wide. Signed Mexican Silver Green Onyx or Malachite Bracelet with the mark of "FD" like that of Frederick Davis, however there is a conjoined mirrored "FD" mark as well and "Sterling Mexico". 6 3/4" X 3/4" wide and 1.4 oz or 42 Grams on Postal Scale. Very Nice ! Hook and eye closure. The mark of a good bracelet: You can't see the clasp.

This is a very early and unusual 990 silver and turquoise cuff bracelet by Hector Aguilar. I have never seen this piece before and have not found it pictured in any of the Mexican silver books so believe it to be quite rare. There are 6 bezel set cabachon turquoise stones framed with vertical lines that alternate with a pattern of incised wavy horizontal lines.The stones are beautiful and appear to be all original.
