A long silk lampas-woven sash, known as hizam, once worn by a Moroccan bride. The beautiful pattern being reminiscent of the fabled textiles of Moorish Spain. The pattern repeat is changing in the middle of the girdle, the ends are decorated with the auspicious eight-pointed star and the hand of Fatima (hamsa).
