The most fun Sigi Pineda earrings I have ever had, this set is in fact the first in a series of three pairs I will be presenting, all in the same design vein. We have a very early linear hallmark design 103 M devil fish brooch made by Los Castillo. The fish is 2 3/8th's long and 1.5in. at it's widest point. This is a huge brooch and weighs 32 grams heavy. In some Los Castillo and Margot de Taxco designs we find a letter after the design number. From my experience all with a letter have shown their selves to be somewhat different than the majority made. Usually these items are larger in size and this piece I believe is a largest size made...

Outrageous! To start with this Bauer bird is 6" long, has "tail feathers" dangling freely to pick up any movement, and is very three dimensional. The Austrian crystal stones are all prong set and range from irridescent green, to white, pink and gold. This parrot does everything but talk! The oval Bauer cartouche is on the back. Chinese Jin Dynasty Pottery Filial Piety Tile - Wang Wuzi
This moulded pottery tile was made during the Jin Dynasty (AD 1115 - 1234) and was most likely excavated from Shanxi province. It is made from a relatively highly-fried grey pottery. A necklace of 26 large Tibetan turquoise beads ranging in color from delicate greenish-blue hues to a vibrant turquoise blue separated by silver rings. Each bead has its own attractive matrix and nice patina from years of wearing. The necklace was bought together with the two glass dZi beads and two red coral beads in Lhasa, Tibet. It was restrung again recently to give it strength.

Stunning, sculptural 970 sterling silver hand carved beads necklace strung on sensuous velvet cord designed and signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist silver Maestro Antonio Pineda. Gnarled plums cover the unusual rich blue ground of this antique tsubo vase from the Arita kilns dating from the early 20th century. It is 14-1/2 inches (37 cm) tall and in fine condition, signed on the base. The decoration is performed entirely in overglaze enamels with a gold rim,and is both vivid and fresh.
