A sheer cascade of silver mist drops into the darkness beyond a golden outcrop harboring an ancient pine laden with blossoming wisteria vines. Togidashi, taka-maki-e and kirigane, this is a breathtaking box dating from the 19th to opening of the 20th century. Inside is elegantly decorated with drifting clouds of golden mist. Overall in excellent condition, enclosed in a period wooden box. It is 23 x 21.5 x 4.3 cm (9 x 8-1/2 x 1-3/4 inches).

A beautiful sterling and carnelian Art Deco ring by Georg Jensen Denmark. I have never seen this ring offered before and believe it to be quite rare, perhaps custom made. It is a size 7 1/2 and in fine original condition. The front of the ring measures 7/8" wide and 5/8" long. Signed with the 1933-44 mark as shown. A rare period ring from Jensen.

Margot de Taxco design # 5120 with amethyst drops is rare. This beauty is properly hallmarked on both the chain and the drop. The necklace is 17.5 inches long and has a weight of 72 grams heavy. The repousse is deep and the patina is natural and dark in it's recesses. In some not all pictures the amethyst show internal striations when camera light was flooded upon them, but these are not cracks or pits and do not rise to the tops of the stones. They look dark in your hands with natural light...

A rare pair of inlaid Knifewing design cuff links by Zuni silversmith John Gordon Leak. The inlaid Knifewing figure is set in a background of black jet. These measure 1" by 1", weigh 20.3 grams and are in fine original condition. John Gordon Leak's work was prominently featured in the C. G. Wallace collection auctioned by Sotheby's in 1975. A unique piece of zitan wood used as a sample for the scholar's woodworker. This piece is unusual as it shows a very light color of the zitan wood which is probably close to the bark area. This bold, eye catching sterling silver bracelet was designed & signed c. 1950's by Taxco, Mexican modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Weighing 120 grams, the piece has a wearable interior length of 6 1/2". It's 1" wide rising to 3/8" high on the wrist. In beautiful vintage condition with a soft, aged patina. No dents or dings. Both hinge & clasp are in fine working order. Fully hallmarked. Antonio designs are included in several permanent museum collections including LACMA.
