Tall Chinese late Qing dynasty Guangxu period famille verte Kangxi revival porcelain rouleau vase decorated with scenes from the Chinese literary classic “Romance of the Three Kingdoms.” 17 3/4” high. Circa 1900. Finely painted and in very good overall condition. The base was drilled for a lamp.

A circular celadon box, decorated to the top with lotus blossom. Southern-Song dynasty 12th-13th century Longquan ware. Condition is very good near perfect, only with minor flake glaze to rim (visible on enlargement 4) and tiny dull to glaze considered excavated from sea water, further in perfect shape. One of the best Matl Salas crosses I have come to find. Weighs 30 grams heavy. This cross is 2.75in. across and 3 6/8th in. tall. A beautiful work and piece of art.

Dating : Ming dynasty 15th century, Xuande-Zhendong period ware. Condition : one short firing crack 0.6 cm, one long 4 cm very light glaze hairline and the other 1 cm, no chips and free from any restoration. Diameter: 15 cm.

Description:

A Qingbai ewer was well mold in decent look.
In rice-white tint of the glaze from which infiltration of incursion was observed, the ewer was applied with arched handle and two loops.
Whitish body clay was revealed at the bottom when darken firing tint was yielded along the rim.
Minute incursions were happened to the mouth rims.
It was rarely found a Qingbai ewer with a melon-shaped body.

Whimsical and rare handmade sterling silver Question Mark pill box designed (c.1960's) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Measures 2 1/4" X 1 1/2". Made of heavy gauge sterling silver the box weighs 28 grams or 1 ounce. A small silver bead snaps the lid into place. Hinge works perfectly. No dents or dings. Signed on the inside lid WS 925 WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO and the eagle 63.

A rare famille rose snuff bottle, decorated with a Hundred Boys in festival celebration. Ching dynasty 18th century, Chien Lung Nien Zhe four characters mark on base and of the period. Condition: re-touched a chip to rim and enamel wear, further in good condition. High: 5.7 cm.

Black glazed ewer of pear shaped with slightly everted rim, prominent spout and carved handle, covered overall with black glaze on the grey stoneware body, flat unglaze base. A black-glazed tripod censer was in decent look by molding with two long handles on the sides.
Uniquely there were squeezed and applied motifs of dragon and phoenix being decorated on two sides of the surface separately.

Recently excavated on South Sulawesi of Sawankhalok celadon dish or so-called Sisatchanalai wares. The dish with flattened rim and rounded lip, decorated with an incised chrysanthemum flower head in the center medallion and floral sprays on the cavetto. An early 18th Century plate decorated in underglaze blue depicting a lady and a boy in a river landscape. This item was made for export to Europe (circa 1730 - 1750) during the reign of either the Yongzheng or the Qianlong emperor. Gerardo Lopez dragon cuff is constructed with an overlay for dimension. The background is niello and it looks as if it were hardly worn. There is some glare with the photos but no damage. I date this around 1948 to 1950 as it does carry an eagle but it also carries the earlier hallmark using the 980 mark. The cuff is 2 inches tall, a 1 1/8th in. gap and a 2.25in. diameter. Collector quality.

A rare blue and white Meiping, decorated with garden scene with official and attendant among windswept, pine tree and grasses, flanked by a band of continuously lotus scroll in the shoulder above and plantain leaves below, base unglazed. Ming dynasty 15th century Interregnum period of Jingtai-Thianshun. Condition is very good, except minor flake chips to mouth rim, but no any restoration. High: 24cm.

An underglaze blue painted jar and cover decorated in 17th/18th Century Kangxi style with prunus blossoms against a "cracked ice" back ground. This item was made later, during the late Qing or very early Republic period, circa 1875 to 1915. Condition - very good. There is a very slight shallow surface chip to the top of the neck. No further chips, no cracks and no restoration. 5.8 inches (14.5cm) high.

Blue & White dish with everted rim and a straight foot. Decorated in underglaze cobalt-blue with a bird, within a pair of double lines in the central medallion, with a continuous floral scroll on the cavetto. On the exterior with Lotus panels. Stoneware body with a transparent glaze. The mouth rim and foot rim unglazed and the base painted with a chocolate-brown iron wash. 15th century. Condition:Excellent no damage or restoration. A Cizhou pillow was preserved in very good condition.
When decorated on the frontal side with incised motifs of fishes, flowers and water weeds and by a ring-punched ground, the pillow was left being unglazed at the bottom.
Naturally and vibrantly carved, the motifs were rendered in a dated photographic characteristic which we usually seen in the wares of northern regions of early periods.

Two strands signed RM and DM are intoxicating beads of bold color. One pre 1948 strand and another that bears an eagle as shown are crafted with thick silver and each has a clasp so you can wrap it one more time around the neck with ease. One strand is 37inches long and the other one is 40in. long. These bundled gems are marvelous left long or wrapped up with a twist. They weigh 256 grams of stone and silver. Both strands are one inch long but one is "fatter" than the other. No loss or damage to...

A rare jar standing on small foot of ovoid form with an extended neck and rolled rim, decorated with four vertical lugs unfortunately one is missing on the shoulder. This is a fine ovid yingqing meiping, It is designed with a simple incised line without the engraving of any motif. The meipimg is divided into four equal segments all divided by two parallel incised lines. Within all this incised lines, the greenish glaze can be seen pooling at the recessed part.
