Early William Spratling 980 silver bracelet with the marks dating it 1933-40. Spratling hallmarks can be reviewed on the website www.spratlingsilver.com. Classic, recognizable Spratling design, this bracelet has a pin closure and measures 6 3/4" end to end and is 7/8" wide. It is one of the bracelets featured on page 43 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk.Fine original condition, nice patina. Appropriately signed as shown. A great early Spratling bracelet.

A massive sculptural silver and center bezel set oval amethyst bracelet by Taxco silversmith Fred Davis. Although the stone is the focal point, it is the shape of the links which the eye cannot resist. In excellent original condition, c. 1930, this bracelet measures 8" end to end and is 1 5/8" wide. A large and bold mid-century moderne sterling and tiger eye ring by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda. The stone is fabulous - great color and striations. And BIG-- The ring is 1 1/2" long and 1 1/8" wide. It is a size 9 but can be sized without loss of the mark.The ring is plain in the back. A superb necklace by Carmen Beckmann. Rare to find, it has 6 oval bezel set unfaceted amethysts as the focus of each of the six panels. Measuring 16 1/2" end to end and 1' wide, it weighs 95 grams and is in fine original condition. There are no chips or cracks in the stones. Lines that you see are natural inclusions all under the surface of the stone. Circa 1960-70, this is a beautiful necklace.

Striking sterling necklace by Reveriano Castillo. He was among the first apprentices with William Spratling and later worked with Hector Aguilar at the Taller Borda. In 1952, he and Maria Castillo opened their own shop that they called "REVERI". This necklace is simple and elegant as typical of their style. It measures 16" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 68 grams. Fine original condition and signed with his RC mark as shown. Feels and looks wonderful on the neck.

A fabulous and unusual 2 1/4" wide sterling cuff with pearls and onyx by Los Ballesteros. The scalloped edges really dress up this piece. It measures 6" around in the inside and has a 1 1/4" opening. Very early, pre-eagle mark, sterling necklace by Los Castillo. A bold and important piece, it is featured on page 87 of the book MEXICAN SILVER by Morrill and Berk. They date it c. 1945. Beautiful geometric design, it measures 15" around total. The center section is 4 1/2" across and 1 1/2" wide. Solid at 135 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed for Los Castillo as shown. It is gorgeous in every way.

A terrific abstract mid-century modern sterling bracelet by Taxco silversmith Sigi Pineda. It is hinged in the back and pulls open in the front at the horizontal lines, most ingenious! The bezel set aventurine stone is a nice touch. These are the kind of designs for which Sigi is most celebrated. A beautiful and unique ring by Carmen Beckmann composed of 5 silver bands with a scroll design alternating with stones of turquoise and amethyst quartz. The depth of color of the amethysts vary from dark to light and one of the light stones has a tiny nick on the surface that looks much bigger in the photos due to the extreme magnification.
