Kendi, with rounded sides, bulbous spout and tall neck decorated outside with floral scroll and plantain leaves on the neck with metal mount, glazed base. PERIOD : Early Ming(1368-1398 AD) MEASUREMENT : 16 cm height, 14 cm wide. CONDITION: crackline on the body (have restored by professional) no other damages issues.

Of buff ware, decorated in cream slip with painted designs in black and red, this aryballos, or perfume/oil vessel, measures 3 1/8" high, and is roughly the same diameter. The paint decoration is worn, and appears to represent a bird figure, with additional geometric designs over the body and top. Aryballoi of this size and form were utilized for perfume or other precious oils, and date to the 6th century BC...

An Edo Period Kozuka (utility knife handle.) Kinko (mixed soft metals) decoration on shakudo alloy with nanako (fish roe textured) background. Depicted in a farmer with horse in water plowing in prepartion to plant rice. A willow or other weeping tree, to one side, not yet with blooms. Nicely detailed with featured highlighted with gold and silver overlay. The water nicely textures with an itame (wood grain) effect. Serviceable, fair to good condition...

Porcelain body with a transparent glaze. Base recessed and unglazed. D : 8 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty fourteenth century. Condition : Very good, no hairline, cracks, chips or restorations

Beautiful carving in the Balinese Art Deco style made of heavy tropical wood. Bearded man traditionally dressed with kris on his back, holding and feeding his gamecock. Condition: filled crack going through one foot and base. Dimension: 52.7 cm high, weight: 3'045 g.

A Tang dynasty Changsha bowl, rounded side with deep center and unglazed base, bowl decorated with scroll and fire works motif in brown color motif, bowl covered with creamy glazed PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) MEASUREMENTS: 5.5 cm tall, 15 cm wide. CONDITION: a fritting to the rim, no cracks, or hairlines and free from restorations.

From Yunnan Province, this minority hand woven open container has wonderful age and patina. The wife said it was used at family dinners for pouring wine, the husband said used for pouring tea. I just smiled and nodded in agreement. The piece was obviously woven tight enough to contain liquid. There is a small piece of bamboo inserted into the basket spout which aids in controlling the flow. Condition is very good and the piece measures 8" x 5" high.
