Chinese Qing dynasty Qianlong period geyao type shallow bowl covered overall with a fine crackle glaze on a creamy white ground. The high foot rim is glazed on the exterior. The recessed base is glazed and the glaze extends part way up the inner side of the inward slanting foot where it ends with an orange burn line. Of oval shape with lovely feet in the shape of leaves (lotus ?). The inside richly decorated with panels with trmple gardens, flowers and butterflies. Originally this bowl was part of a large dinner service, commisioned by the Dutch East-India Company. Dimensions: 31x24x8 cm. Condition: one chip of 1x0,5 cm, otherwise perfect.

Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Covered Box - Kangxi (Ex.Christie's)

This fine quality blue & white porcelain covered box was made during the Kangxi reign (1662 - 1722) of the Qing Dynasty. Both cover and box are attractively decorated with floral patterns in underglaze blue of good colour.

It is large example of its type with a diameter of 10.25 cm (4 inches). This box has been excavated from a shipwreck. It was sold at Christie's auction house, London, in February 2000...

Blue and White jar decorated with two kind of eight precious things : the mirror (zhing) to counteracts evil and lozenge as a symbol of victory, lotus interlocking, lotus petal scroll to the foot and prêt patern on the shoulder ; . Kangxi 1662-1772. Height = 12.5 cm, Width= 11.5 cm. Condition : perfect, no hairlines, cracks, chips or restoration.

Porcelain decorated with two flags on the interior, glazed base with mark. PERIOD : Qianlong(1736-1795AD) MEASUREMENTS: 12 cm wide. CONDITION: two short hairlines to the rim, no chips, no cracks, and free from restorations.

Glazed all over in iron rust with the exception of the base ring which has been left unglazed.

This brush washer is unmarked and age has been approximated at 18th century.

In very good condition with normal wear use present on the inside. One small glaze kiln flaw on the base but this does not detract from it.

An extremely rare pair of original 18th century elm wood lacquered folding chairs. All the parts are original including the original lacquer. Only replacements were the hardware in the folding joints as the originals had rusted out. The back panel has an open- work floral design with a cloud design on the upper and lower panels. Chinese yellow crackle-glazed pear-form porcelain vase with an everted rim and an underglaze blue double-ring at the base. Dates from the 18th century. 9 1/4"H. There are small scattered green glaze spots and interesting irregularities of the glaze application at the neck. Fine quality restorations have been made to the neck which are not visible to the eye. The vase was acquired from a Southern Arizona estate.

Ming Dynasty porcelain wine storage jar with hand painted dragon motif. A large vessel in very good antique condition. Measuring approx. 14 inches tall and 10 inches at widest point.

Description:

A fine Guanyin piece was well carved.
By well maneuvered carving skill, the holy deity was clad with flouring robe and was featured with benign facial expression.
Nice patina was preserved while some whitish abrasions were observed.
A wooden cork was filled in at the bottom.

Condition: Very good, except some old cracks were found on the back(at the base).

A fine 18th century Chinese molded celadon-glazed porcelain dish, finely decorated chrysantemum flower with foliated rim, covered overall in green glazed. DATE : Qianlong (1736 - 1795). SIZE : D = 28 cm CONDITION : very good condition, no chips, cracks, hairlines and free from restorations.

Large Chinese Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain deep dish decorated at the center with a four-clawed dragon among clouds chasing a flaming pearl. The clouds and the long scaled body of the dragon continue “over the wall” to the reverse...

A charming brushpot inlaid with mother-of-pearl, ivory and hardstones. The inlay work is of branch with flowering plum blossoms. The back has a poem of archaic Chinese characters inlaid in silver. The wood is a dark hardwood (unidentified) of a slightly reddish tint.
