Fine Chinese Song Dynasty Dragon Jar inc. Stand & Cover with Oxford TL Test

This exceptional "five-section" stoneware jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 -1279). It is quite "heavily-potted" with the outer body and inner mouth coated in an attractive dark iron glaze, the colour varying from brown to black with an almost "metallic" silvery sheen to it in places...

Description:

A water dropper was in intriguing twin toad's shape.
In characteristic mustard tint, the vessel was merged by two halves made from clay molds.
Finger prints were left on the clay body by the potter when in the squeezing and applying method of the pieces.
There were obvious incursions happened to the thinner portion of the glaze.
The toads were in uniquely fiercing look which was a iconological characteristic of the dated periods...

A black and white recumbent jade dog from the Song Dynasty. Size: L. 5cm. W. 2.8cm. H. 1.5cm. Condition: No repairs. Some of polish has been lost through age.

Descriptiion:

A Longquan vase was in shape of archaic Zun type and was supported by 4 arched feet.
It was a characteristic ritual vessel put on an altar table.
In beautiful celadon tint, the vessel was preserved in perfect condition.
Old abrasions were found on the surface when slight incursions were happened to the ridges.

Description:

A beautiful Qingbai porcelaneous set of cup and cupstand was found in original condition.
In characteristic greenish tint in the glaze, the ware was revealed with chalk-feel bodyclay underside.
The firing effects were yielded on the body clay.
They were preserved in perfect condition.
Some similar pieces were in the documentations.

Description: A set of straw glazed QingBai cup and stand was preserved well. The cup was in six petals' floral shape and was crackled beautifully. The stand was in perfect condition with obvious excavation evidences. They were not an original set but were originated from the same date and were perfectly matched. Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Pottery Buddhist Zodiac Jar

This very rare and attractively-shaped pottery jar was made during the Song Dynasty (AD 960 - 1279), or possibly the Yuan Dynasty (AD 1279 - 1368) and has been excavated from a Buddhist site in Yunnan province.

The jar has been decorated with four large lotus leaf panels within which are moulded and applied human figures and zodiac animals. The pottery is quite “brittle” and there are minor losses to the vulnerable edges...

Song Dynasty Ding ware bowl with petal rim. Note a chip to underside of rim and base. Diameter: 4.50 inches; Height: 2.50 inches.

Measuring 6" in diameter and 2 3/8" high, this Nishapur polychromed bowl dates to the 9th to 11th centuries, and is buff ware ceramic with decoration in magenta, yellow and green. The central image features a peacock with elaborate tail, and the border around the edge is abstracted, with a resemblance to calligraphic writing. The exterior of the bowl features vertical lines in magenta, with interspersed sections of yellow and green...

Han style primitive but good model of a Bixie with piercings behind the head, behind fanged teeth, and within the hind legs or tail seem intended for mounting securely as a pendant or fashion accouterment (the neckline appearing suited as a guide for silk cord.) Well carved relief features for eyes, brows, snout and bite. The forefeet and tail with incised features and the tail folded under where subtly ribbed. The double tipped wings in slight relief with incised border...
