Description: A decent wood carving of Guan-yin was from early Qing period. In elegant broad facial characteristics, the Guan-yin sits easily with flouring robe spreading on the floor when benign and holy atmosphere being fully yielded by the excellent craftsmanship. A lovely excavated blue & white small jar in globular form, decorated with floral sprays to the both sides below 'ruyi' pattern around the shoulder. Glaze is still very fine compare to the others excavation pieces, also condition is perfect, just unfortunately have a flake chip to the base and the cobalt-blue firing into slightly blur turn to be greenish tone. Ming dynasty late 15th to early 16th century ware. High: 6.2cm and body wide: 7 cm.

This old carpenter's detail handsaw was clearly home made by an experienced carpenter craftsman who took pride in his work. It is decorated with delicately carved swirls of clouds and has metal fittings for strength. It has the original blade which was sharpened to cut on both forward and back strokes and is still remarkably sharp. This saw was (according to my carpentry friend) was probably used for fine marquetry work. The saw measures 11" long. It is a rare find and a pleasure to own.

An unusual shaped of Yuan dynasty small jar, decorated with two blossoms of chrysanthemum to the body among four beads line border and two ring handles attached to the neck. Condition is perfect, with no any chips, no cracks and free from any restoration, just a bit firing flaw to the neck area. However, it's the rare one small jar form i have ever found from South-Sulawesi excavated area. Yuan dynasty 1279-1368. High: 6.7 cm.

A rare Lungquan celadon dish, decorated in the center with moulded of twin fish, covered overall with an unique golden-brown celadon glazed. Southern Sung-Yuan dynasty 12th-13th century. A finely white glazed Ewer of pear shaped form with inverted mouth rim and the handle in the form of a "Chilong" dragon and a small curving spout. Porcelain body covered with a nice and smooth Qingpai glaze, the base unglazed. Yuan dynasty 13th-14th century, Jiangxi Jindezhen, Shufu type wares, excavated at Central Sulawesi Indonesia. Condition is perfect except old chips on the foot rim. High to lid: 10.3 cm.

Underside with lotus petals and covered overall with a nice banana leaf green glazed. Ming dynasty 15th century Longquan ware. A fine one of Ming blue & white covered box, decorated on the top with a pair Mandarin ducks swimming on the lotus pond, around the bottom part with two blossoms of chrysanthemum flowers, rabbit mark on the base. Ming dynasty 17th century Jia-Jing period ware. Condition is perfect, with no any chips, no cracks and free from restoration, flawlessly also. It's the nice quality one. Diameter: 9.8 cm and High: 6.1 cm.

This is a small Tang dynasty (618-906 A.D) sancai water dropper in the shape of a mystical animal, possibly a foo lion, in a curling up sleeping position. The water hole is created on the back of the animal.

There is no repair or restoration. Minor abrasion, pin hole, bubble burst and degradation.

The measurement of the water dropper: Height 3cm, the Width 5cm and the length is 6.6cm.

A good example of Yuan dynasty b/w bowl, decorated outside with continuously Lotus flower above lotus petal panels. Inside the center with Lotus pond within single circle, border with typically classic scrolls around the inner rim. Yuan dynasty. Condition with three area re-stuck, with one small missing pieces. Diameter: 16.8 cm and High: 8.1 cm.

Description: With incurving rim, a small Jun bowl was shaped elegantly. In two purple splashed strokes, the bowl was added with more charming atmosphere. Being glazed over all inside and outside of the surface, the bowl’s foot ring was left unglazed in a firm and regular shape. Description: A Temmoko bowl from Jianyang kiln of Song Dynasty was excavated rarely with metal wrappings around the mouth rim. Fragile of the wrappings, the bowl was in beautiful hare’s-fur glaze. The bowl was molded in regular shape and was typical in the size of general Jianyang bowls. Classic Jian ware has a coarse, slate gray to black body that usually fires purplish brown where exposed, but in some cases fire medium to dark gray, as it has in this example...

This is a small Tang Dynasty funerary sancai or tri-colour tea cup. It stands on a flat and small footrim and then everted flat and vertically upwards towards and everted mouth rim. This Japanese Fireman Hanten is made of hand-loomed Sashiko weave cotton fabric. This was the fabric of choice for the firefighting jackets because they could and would be drenched with water to keep the fireman safe from the flames while fighting fires. This piece is hand sewn and has clearly been heavily used. It has several holes and patches. When I got it years ago, it smelled badly of wood smoke...I did wash it to get rid of the smell.
