Beautifully carved, this soapstone figure really captures the essence of the stately Polar Bear.

The soapstone is a mottled brown/green, with spots of black, rust, and tan, and has black inlaid eyes.
The simplified form is just elegant and lovely, and clearly demonstrates the talent of the carver.

Well carved in cedar, this Northwest Coast box measures 4 3/4" high x 4 3/8" wide and deep. In the tradition of Haida, Salish, Tsimshian, and other First Nation tribes of the Northwest Coast, the box is kerfed and hand carved with deep traditional designs that are abstracted and stylized. The cedar has a lovely sheen, also typical of the wood as it ages.
It is signed in pencil on the bottom, the name Wilson visible, with a name or initial above that is not clear...

A rare find, this ceramic figure of a nagual is by the well known ceramic artist Candelario Medrano (1918-1986) from the village of Las Huertas in the state of Jalisco in Mexico.
The figure is 8" high, 8 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" deep. The base is roughly 4 3/4" x3 3/4", and is slightly tapered.
It is painted in various shades of orange, red, pink, with details on the body in black and white, the base of yellow and green. The face is pink, in human form...

From the design workshop of Los Castillo in Taxco Mexico, this beautiful vase is hand hammered silver plate with abalone inlay in the curved petals on the lip.
It measures 5 3/8" high and 3 7/8" across at the top.
The body is heavily ribbed, in what seems to be called the "melon" design by Los Castillo.
Signed on base with Los Castillo Taxco impressed mark, hecho a Mano, Mexico.

A pair of Helen Kalvak Inuit screened burlap hunting scene pictures. Kalvak (1901-1984) was from Ulukhaktok, Northwest Territories, Canada and she was inducted into the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. This was followed in 1978 by her appointment to the Order of Canada. These screened burlap pictures are framed and they measure 18-1/4 x 15-1/4" and they have a sight size of 13-1/2 x 10-1/4"...
This necklace is comprised of 31 stone pre-columbian beads, in varying shapes, sizes and colors. The necklace measures 19 1/2" long. Between 15 and 20 beads have a green color, the others are faded into cream and beige, a few are brown or black. The flat disc shaped black stone in the center measures roughly 26cm across and is backed with a green speckled disc. The large tubular beads measure between 7/8" and 1 1/4" (33cm)...
