This Chinese pipe is from the Miao Ethnic Minority group in the vicinity of Rong Jiang. My Miao friends insist that this pipe would have been used for smoking tobacco and not opium. Made from silver alloy, the stem design has the two dragons chasing the center pearl.

The pipe is in very good condition and is 19" long and it comes with its own custom made stand.

A nice famille jaune bat motive tea cup. It has a Tonzhi seal mark both on the cover and the base of the cup and is of the period.

A minor manufacturing flaw on the cover (photo 2)and five hair lines as shown in the photos 4 and 5. two with stain and the other can be seen at certain angle only. Other than that, it is in fine condition, no chip or repair.

The height of the tea cup is 9cm and the diameter is 11.2cm

A very unusual round Ming huanghuali box with a lid. The lid's center has a burl wood center of huanghuali. It is very rare to see burl wood huanghuali in huanghuali pieces. A black-glazed Jizhou bowl was preserved in a fine condition.
By a beautiful grayish image of freely painted plum branch in the cavetto against the black ground, the tea bowl was mold in a typical Wan shape when standing by a flat foot ring which was a strong characteristic for a Jizhou bowl.
The buff-tinted soft-feel paste revealed at the bottom was another obvious characteristic for this dated ware.
