Chinese late Ming dynasty Dehua (blanc de chine) porcelain bombe form censer with flaring rim covered overall with a white glaze of warm pinkish tone with areas of darker pink pooling. Description: A full scale(quan-kai) paper painting of ink and colors was from a famous Qing painter Ren Xun(1835-1893).
Well rendered, the figures and scenes were finished by excellent maneuvering of the master painter’s brush strokes.
Defects were observed though, the ancient painting had been well restored and framed by a master Chinese painting restoring expert Lin Mao Long who have done a lot of works for the Palace Museum of Taipei.

Description: A beautiful Jizhou bowl was in wonderful condition. By a firm and stable condition of the glaze which was very unusual to a Jizhou ware, the bowl was kept perfectly and preserved with all aspects of the characteristics as a genuine piece. In a typical Wan (bowl) type with wide mouth rim, the bowl was molded with steep wall and with comparatively flatten bottom. Description:

A Zitan cup was carved from one piece of wood block.
Finely carved handle was made to imitate the bamboo stalks.
It was in perfect condition.
There're carving lines on the handle. They were not cracks.
Minute wood grains were yielded as shallow cracks at the bottom.

Date: Qing Dynasty, 19th century.

A whimsical Yixing pottery figural group depicting a mature and a young rat in hollowed, half log with a cache of three peanuts. Marked with two impressed seals. Out of our comfort zone with this category (perhaps another's gain) and assuming it likely is a later 20th century item. About 4 1/2" (11.43cm) high, 6" (15.24cm) long, and about 3" (7.62) wide at the base. Condition is excellent.

Description: A Yueyao covered jar was rarely found with dated inscription of The 25th Year of Saoxing period(AD1155). By a fine pale-green glaze applied all over the surface, the jar was fitted with an interesting cap which imitating the roof of a Chinese building. Other motifs were those like the counting scale by the Chinese characters and the Chinese couplets of –“ The Warehouse is always full, The Selling Store is always open”. It was a fine jar, an interesting piece indeed...

Description: A Rare Yaozhou Baby of 12th century was excavated with obvious evidence of adhesives. With sophisticated olive-green glaze, the lying Song baby survived over 800 years and still reflected the restraint glaze glamour the excavated piece always have. A rock crystal carving was well depicted as a Guanyin holding a baby.
By characteristically dated features on the faces of the deity and the baby, the figures were well carved on the robes with affluent lines.
The benign facial expression of the Guanyin and the smiling face of the baby were well rendered by excellent traditional craftsmanship.
The rock crystal here was not in pure transparent look...

Description:

A Cizhou jar was rarely found altogether with an original cover.
In simple and slender oval shape, the jar was applied with russet glaze which reflected with dazzling and characteristic sheen.
At the inner side of the cap and at the bottom, the rough buff-tinted body clay was revealed.
It can be perfectly used as a personal tea caddy by its adequate size.

Date: Yuan/Ming periods, 14th/15th Century.

Description: A Zitan cup was well carved from one solid wood trunk.
Being decorated on two handles in bamboo form, the Zitan cup was well hollowed in a round shape and was in a plain form.
By excellent carving skill, the bamboo stalks were vividly imitated and being as good handles.
It was preserved in long time of age and already owned the enduring old purplish-black patina.
Overall condition was great when some old cracks were observed.
Some abrasions were at the bottom too.

With deep sides rising from a tapered foot to an everted rim, decorated in delicate familie rose colours with a bird perched on a branch of wisterias beside flowering branches of poeny and seal mark " spring-time for the whole family of heaven earth" and the characters Daya Zhai (studio of Great culture) all reserved on a turquoise ground...

Description:

A small Junyao cup was well glazed on the surface.
The thick glaze was rolling down on the outer surface and stopped in half way to reveal the rough-feel body clay.
Obvious circular molding scars were left on the body clay when the foot ring was well shaped and stand in somewhat everted angle.
Crackles and incursions to the glaze were observed for easy verification.
One small splash of purplish tint was yielded in the cavetto...

A Junyao tripod censer was in decent form.
It was well glazed in moon-white tint when subtle green glaze was reflected within.
Some crackles were yielded in the glaze due to enduring time.
Some incursions were happened too.

Description: A very good example of bone carving which was imitated as an ivory piece was done in the 17th-18th century of Qing Dynasty. A dynamically painted blue and white vase decorated in Kangxi style with seven fish, a shrimp and a crab against a background of stylized waves. This item was made for export in the Jingdezhen kilns, Jiangxi province during the reign of the Guangxu emperor (1875-1908). Condition - there is a large shallow chip to the rim (see enlargements 6 and 9) and also a number of smaller under rim chips; no cracks and no restoration. 16cm (6.3inches) high.

This is a fine, beautiful and brightly coloured example of a small “Jun” ware bowl which was treated as a “manufacturing defect”. The bowl is well glazed in a bright lavender colour with pooling of a bright blue sky glaze at the base of the bowl. It would have been a fine piece if not for an overglazed which has resulted in an overflow of a big pool of the glaze down to the sagger.
