Offered here an ink landscape on paper by the eccentric and highly sought Japanese artist Fukuda Kodojin (1865-1944) dated 1919. Description: A camphor wood arm chair was originally made in Taiwan in the late 19th century. With beautiful design, this chair was used to be put on the main side of a living room in pairs which were called Tai-Shi-Yi, the lord's chair. Vertical oban depicting a fox attacking a man and child by Utagawa Yoshiiku (1833-1904). A three-eyed ghost gazes menacingly at the scene from the upper right corner. The banner at the top, which is being held by a flying angel, reads "#445 from the Tokyo Daily News." The date of "8th month of Meiji 6" (1873) appears in the right portion of the calligraphic description of the scene taking place. Newspapers, which were introduced into Japan in 1870, became very popular in the Meiji Period...

Description: A bronze Buddha figure of Japanese was cast with very fine quality of metal. He was molded very well with the religious mood. Meditated in calm expression and with religious hand symbol, this Buddha was once installed on a pedestal which had been lost. Two drilling holes can be seen on the bottom.

A superbly b/w long neck bottle vase, with finely potted and well balance, decorated with six panels to the body featuring emblems motif, bamboo scroll, flower and peach. The neck with hanging dots motif. Ming dynasty 17th century Kraak type ware, Wanli phase. Condition is perfect, except minor old chips to the foot rim, free from restoration. High: 29.4 cm.

A good b/w small bowl, with finely potted in conical form, decorated with continuous lotus scrolls in the middle of the body in nicely cobalt-blue tone and made by finer quality white porcelain, collected in Ternate island Indonesia. "Kang Xi Nien Zhe" four character mark on the base, but it's dating late Ching dynasty 19th century. Condition with one tiny flake glaze to rim and impossible to take a picture, otherwise is perfect. Diameter: 10 cm and High: 5.9 cm.
