Description:

A Chinese iron kettle was cast in decent form.
By well arched handle in nice shape, the body of the tea pot was in drum-like shape, and was cast with motif of Buddhist Treasures on one side and with date inscription of Qianlong Xin-Yo NienZi(Made in AD1741, Qinglong reign) and with Chinese lucky words of FunTiaYuXun in a roundlet.

It was very rare to find a iron kettle from Chinese origin, and when it was in such nice shape.

In an attractive purple splash at the cavetto, the bowl was applied on the surface with the blue sky glaze. Cracks and minute bubbles were spread under the glaze.
