Description:

A Cizhou tea bowl was in good elm bowl's shape.
Well glaze on the surface with russet slip and therefore the intriguing firing effect, the bowl was well shaped on the foot ring with steep wall.
Buff-tinted of the clay, and all other obvious characteristic like the retrospective sheen of the glaze proved the bowl an ancient one.

Date: Jin Dynasty, 12th/13th century.

This is a blue and white brush rest for a scholar study. The brush rest is manufactured in the likeness of blue and white wares on which Arabic and Persian inscriptions appear during the reign of emperor Cheng-Te, Ming dynasty.
