One decent painted jar was well molded in a grand look. By the straw glazed slip on the surface, the well maneuvered sketching motifs- the vibrant peony flowers and spread leaves were vividly rendered in a regular form around the straight wall.
From the freehand but strictly applied brushwork on the surface and the beige body clay revealed at the foot ring, the beautiful ware was authenticated as a piece from Cizhou kilns for sure -but a restricted one...

This Los Castillo design 731 is rare. The gap is 1 inch tall and the height is also 1 inch tall. The inside diameter is 2 1/4 inches making for an average sized cuff. Far Fan made quality chain mail jewelry and this bracelet is a superb example of just that. These stones are all original to the bracelet, all have warmed the same tone of teal and all have no chips or cracks. The length is 7in. long and the width is a wide 2 inches. This bracelet has a large presence and the thickness of the chain is also important weighing in at 107 grams heavy. A great example for any collector in love with early Spratling era silver.
Smashing, LARGE mixed metals belt buckle in the form of a fish by Antonio Pineda. Although several of the Taxco silversmiths worked with mixed metals, I have never seen a piece before in mixed metals by Antonio so I would think this belt buckle to be quite rare. Of very large size (25") and heavy (13 pounds each), these bronze pricket candlesticks are Japanese in origin, late Meiji, and are signed with an etched mark on the bottom of each. This vase has splayed foot, a bulbous body, a straight neck and a deepply foliated mouth with everted lip. The main body of the piece is decorated with a densely moulded floral design. Incised around the neck are stylised plantain leaves, a motive which becomes integral to the decorative sryle of qingbai. The piece is covered with white translucent glaze except for the base, which is unglazed.

A lot of flash! This brooch measures 4 1/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide. Large, prong-set square and rectangular red unfoiled stones, with clear round rhinestones single and pave set, in a rhodium plated setting. The pin is strong and locks securely. Pin marked with a single script 'E' (for Eisenberg?) on the back. All stones are clear but a couple of the larger stones do have scratches.
