A nicely carved natural amber pendant of the hand of Buddha citron with a hole at the top so it can be worn as a pendant. The citron fruit may be given as a religious offering in Buddhist temples. According to tradition, Buddha prefers the "fingers" of the fruit to be in a position where they resemble a closed rather than open hand, as closed hands symbolize to Buddha the act of prayer. An impressive celadon bowl, heavily potted with everted lip rim, decorated incised with twin fish in the center and flowers scroll to the cavetto. Underside with lotus petals and covered overall with a nice banana leaf green glazed. Ming dynasty 15th century Longquan ware. Condition is good excepted two light hairlines appears, no chips and free from any restoration. Diameter: 15 cm.

Two strands signed RM and DM are intoxicating beads of bold color. One pre 1948 strand and another that bears an eagle as shown are crafted with thick silver and each has a clasp so you can wrap it one more time around the neck with ease. One strand is 37inches long and the other one is 40in. long. These bundled gems are marvelous left long or wrapped up with a twist. They weigh 256 grams of stone and silver. Both strands are one inch long but one is "fatter" than the other...
