Parra was known for quality and original designs. This heavy repousse bracelet has deep, sculpted swirls and nice amethysts with no cracks or chips. It is 1.25in. tall and weighs 64 grams. Margot de Taxco design 5647 is a beautiful floral motif with the bracelet and earrings having a stately presence of 1.75in. tall. The repousse is thick and heavy with a combined weight of 155.5 grams. The parure has no damage and is an excellent example of this design. Definitely collector worthy. Japanese TAISHO Period carved wooden RANMA of dragon. The dragon is beautifully carved in high relief and with great detail. The back of the RANMA is also carved and has a rectangular placard with the inscription: TOKYO SHINTOMI-CHO, CHOUKOKU NIN, TAISHO SAN NEN NI GATSU, GOTO SUKEYOSHI, which translated means, Shintomi Town of Tokyo, presently the Ginza area of Tokyo, February of the 3rd year of Taisho (1915), carved by Goto, Sukeyoshi. The RANMA measures about 79" long, 12" tall and 6" thick.

This sweet little metal box used to contain some kind of candied fruit called "Gelypear". The ingredients listed are pears, apples & colored sugar. There is an adorable picture of a boy on the top & the sides are decorated with crests & griffins. In good condition with only minor areas of wear & a small spot of rust inside one corner. Looking more like lace than metal, this necklace is most unique.It is composed of three rows of "lace", each a different width. Very flexible to mold to the wearer's neck and shoulders. Inside circumference is approximately 15" with a 2" extension. Width is 2".

Signed with Poulat's earliest hallmarks this bracelet dates to 1930-40's. The gently curved center panel measures 2 1/2" across & 2" high. Each of the 8 side panels are 1 1/2" high. A decent brush pot was carved from one block of box wood.
By natural root wood form, the wood box was stylized and beautiful when nice and warm patina was obtained on the surface.
It was in good size and was preserved perfectly.
Some protection layers had been done to the bottom by ex-collecter.

It was quite hefty in weight.

From William Spratling's 3rd design phase comes a bracelet that really needs to be seen in person to grasp how fabulous this is. The silver is silky to the wrist and being one in. tall and 86 grams heavy it is no lightweight. It has a 7.5in. length and a one inch tall height but it appears to have an even larger presence. Don't rule this one out as it will become your go to piece for any occasion. No damage or repairs to the bracelet.
