This impressive and well fired Shigaraki mizusashi was thrown and has a rich surface and a lid that sits well on the turned in mouth. Large feudal style Shigaraki mizusashi by veteran potter; Ogawa Seiho. Fired in an anagama, there is rich ash deposits and hi-iro around the pot. This mizusashi is timeless with vintage style tsuchi-aji, clay flavor making for a wonderful and contemplative keshiki landscape.

The mizusashi measures 25 x 16 cm. and is in excellent original condition and comes with a custom made roiro black lacquer lid and its original signed box.

An early piece from the Mudai series by Takiguchi Kazuo enclosed in the original signed wooden box. An angular pottery form covered in Seto glaze by Kawamoto Taro enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The pierced sides are reminiscent of an oki-goro (an incense burner placed over a dish in which incense burns). It is 18 x 8 x 9 inches (46 x 20 x 23 cm) and in excellent condition, consistent with works dating from the later 80s.
