A lovely Arts and Crafts period 830 silver high relief rose Skønvirke brooch circa 1900. This antique 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin has a long c-clasp and it is marked simply 830. It is quite likely this piece is Scandinavian, it is entirely consistent with early Skønvirke ("beautiful work") made popular by fine Scandinavian silver makers. The Deco year saw an influx of gorgeous jewelry out of China in which, more often than not, contemporary silver work was combined with antique elements like carved semi-precious stone buttons, medallions and even mah-jhong and other game pieces. The ring I am presenting here is an immigrant of that era. Early sterling silver SB earrings attached to a card that reads: Original Jewelry by Frances H. Boothby, then Art Shop Munson - Williams - Proctor Institute, then Utica, New York without a zip code making this pre 1960's.
The original box also has the Art Shop info sticker. The mark of "fhb" could be under the screw back findings which are marked Sterling and are identical to others on FHB earrings...

Very modern mid century pin earrings set stamped and signed STERLING REBAJES on the pin only as the moderne screwback earrings are just stamped Sterling on the turn wheels.
Rebajes' foreman was Otto R Bade and also made these in the same mid century modern style. This pair however, is made and marked by the former.
The pin is 2 5/8 X 1 1/2", the ears are 1". 1/2 Oz or 16 Grams...

Late 19th century Edwardian era bold antique signed sterling sash pin holloware brooch ornament marked: "Sterling" a sword with a faint "B" (Blackinton?) & "#3676". Nice hasp like additions, tube hinge and a wide "C" catch

Look at that face! The ethnographic faces on this Silver Bracelet marked: MEXICO STERLING EME and assay 83, a listed silversmith, could be of the god Totec of Aztec fame? A very pre Columbian Aztec idol motif. Reminding one of a book piece....

Vintage Circa 1945 early pre assay Mexican Pre Columbian design puffy cheek bird man mask Maya or Aztec ethnographic motif repousse pin with a bird or serpent on its headdress.
Mark: Made in Mexico Sterling - with old style safety clasp hinge.
A most talented silversmith took a sheet of sterling and hammered it onto a pitch bowl to create such repousse detail. Because it is holloware one looks for the air escape openings which in this case are found at one ear...

a stylized MS or SW in a circle with Assay #17 which is associated with Los Ballesteros and Antonio Pineda although looks like another Serafin Moctezuma mark?

Vintage Spratling era reminding one of Aguilar, et al, hand tooled dense pin brooch with a 6mm green ish turquoise cab simply stamped: MEXICO SILVER. Although could be a higher content - the weight is dense as with many early pre assay jewelry. Early wide C catch. By one of Spratling's or Aguilar's contemporary silversmiths no doubt.
Just under 2 1/2" X 1 1/4" and just under 1/2 ounce on a postal scale. Rich unpolished pre owned vintage condition.

Two wrist ornaments to wear today. Select either or take them both for real savings:
( A) Stamped: GERMANY STERLING with 13 faceted 12mm x 8mm bezel set Carnelians in a slightly serrated bezel. Organic shading, as they are not all identical color.
End to end 7 3/4X 7/8; or
(B) Rhodium plated with 8 half round Carnelian looking claw set stones. Each half moon shape is 30 X 15mm and although quite even coloration, no bubbles noted.
End to end 7 3/4 X 1 1/4". No marks seen.
