A delightful late Victorian or Edwardian pendant in the form of a poodle jumping through a hoop. The wonderfully detailed poodle is cast in sterling silver and the hoop is 14K gold. The dog is fully three-dimensional, and the eyes are set with small pyrope garnets. The pendant is marked “14K Sterling.”

A first design period sterling silver cuff bracelet by William Spratling. This cuff, known as the 'Cholula', measures 5 7/8" around with an opening of 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" wide. Better for the larger wrist. Weighs 84 Gr.

Marked with the incised WS and Spratling Made in Mexico in a circle mark, and an impressed Spratling Silver.

Has some wear to the darkened patina and some small dings along the edges.

A true find for the collector.

This stunning bracelet by Felipe Martinez has the most gorgeous Azur-Malachite stones in vivid shades of blue and green set in thick sculped links. Measures 6 5/8" long by 1" wide and weighs 76.7 grams. Hallmarked "Piedra y Plata, Martinez, Sterling, Taxco, 175" and the eagle 3. No damage noted, it has a secure clasp and attached safety chain. A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. Made up of multiple circles at different heights and contrasting textures. You can see the light hammering around the edge.

Measures about 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Heavy and substantial. Weighs 38 gr. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. It is marked under the pin making it difficult to photograph.

Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.
