Rare and beautiful 970 silver and aventurine bracelet by Taxco silversmith Antonio Pineda.This is a wonderful mid-century design, one that I have not seen before. Measuring 7" aroung in the inside when closed, it is 1" wide in the center and gradually tapers to the back. Hinged and opens and closes in the back with a push in clasp and original safety chain. Weighing 73 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed with the Antonio crown, eagle 208 JCL Taxco and 970 as shown in the photo...
A modernist sterling silver heavy link bracelet signed Gra Wun for the Scottsdale Arizona jeweler Ray Graves. The links slope towards one direction for a three dimensional effect. This bracelet has everything going for it. It is hand chased beautifully into what I think is a floral motif. The 2 balls in it's center are caviar cut which are perfect and without dents. The wearable length is 7 in. long and each of the four sections are shaped to lay on the wrist absolutely perfect. Margot van Voorhies was married to Antonio Castillo and they opened Los Castillo where Margot became well known for her designs. After a divorce she opened her own taller Margot de Taxco. This is design number 5213 the hearts. You see this design with glass or amethyst centers but this one is a rare sterling dome. The length is 15 inches and is 1 1/8th inches tall. The links are without damage and is properly hallmarked as shown. A treasure of collector quality, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE.
This chunky sterling silver bracelet was designed & signed circa 1950's by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). The bracelet will fit up to a 6 1/2" wrist comfortably. A very well crafted pair of sterling silver earrings and matching pendant, each with a prong set rose quartz stone. We especially like how the prongs are formed from folding pieces of the main parts. Pendant measures 2 1/2" long and 1 3/4" across. Would look nice on a chain or neck ring. Screw back earrings measure 1 3/8" high and 1 1/8" across. Screw backs are marked T2 and Sterling. They hold securely. Very nice condition, warm patina. Great modernist design.
