This c. 1910 buckle brooch is beautifully decorated with turquoise tour a guilloche enamel work, with round white enamel accents around the perimeter. The design of this sterling silver link bracelet has a substantial look and feel. It is composed of sturdy cast openwork oval panels with stylized scrolls and swirls reminiscent of mid-20th century Nordic styles. It has a secure hidden hook closure that bears the marks for Danecraft and sterling. The bracelet measures 7 ¼ inches long by a little over ¾ inch wide. Weight: 38.6 grams

Based on an original, almost impossible to find Margot de Taxco design, the repousse "swans-in-a-row" bracelet I am presenting here is wrought in fine, .980 silver and is a little masterpiece. I think suggesting that "A.E.M", whose initials can be found on it, was a maestro who worked for the Los Castillo and/or Margot de Taxco is not a far-fetched hypothesis. Not only is this piece very close to Margot's creation, it is also extremely well made, very sculptural and has crisp, rich detail to it...

A superb 19th century French figural fob seal worked in silver and 18K gold. The gorgeously detailed wolf's head is worked in silver with gold accents such as the collar and the long tongue that hangs from one side of the very toothy jaws. The eyes are set with small rubies. The carnelian seal has never been engraved. Tested and guaranteed silver and 18K.

Substantial and quite unusual in its design this modernist Mexican silver bracelet is an Enrique Ledesma creation and it is adorned with two faceted color-change sapphires. The bracelet’s shape reminds me of ancient torques yet here the two ends bypass each other in a tight, determined embrace. I love the way the sterling tube grows in diameter as it progresses to the bracelet’s front where it is abruptly cut at an angle to accept the gemstone in a crown setting...

Rare and absolutely without equal when it comes to enamel work, this sterling silver pin measures approx 1 7/8 inches, is hallmarked 925 S Sterling Norway on the back, attributed to either David Andersen or Ivar Holt (maker's mark hard to read, may be an H in a circle). Pin in perfect working order. Shiny light green (similar to celadon green) enamel all in perfect condition...

A rare heavy sterling silver brooch by William Spratling, Taxco. Measures 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Marked with the WS in a circle incised mark, Silver Mexico and 925. Has a slight dent to the center and is missing the rollover part of the clasp. A rare find for the collector.

Circa 1930's - 1940's, this early Mexican necklace is an absolute work of art. Signed and hallmarked "Ingrid's Silver". Ingrid's was a shop which retailed silver and hollowware from various silversmiths, among them Jorge "Chato" Castillo. This necklace pulls out all the stops. It's a fabulous modernist/deco design, composed of alternating cylinders of amethyst and sterling silver. The center silver cylinder measures 1 13/16" x 7/8", with a depth of 5/8". This is a wonderful prayer book, sterling silver bracelet charm. The front of the book has a cross. The charm opens to reveal The Lord's Prayer. When closed, the charm measures just under 1/2" x just over 1/2". When open, the charm measures just over 3/4" long. The inside is marked STERLING JMF CO.

Vintage moonstone & sterling silver ring designed & signed by Taxco, Mexico modernist Antonio Pineda (1919-2009). Ring is a size 5 1/2 to 6. Face of ring measures 3/4" high.
