Magnificent swirl brooch in the style of William Spratling, with the circular “Mexico Silver” mark used in the 1920s to 40s. In addition: Swedish import mark (three crowns and S) Height "3 ¼ / 8 cm, weight 35 grams. Condition: fine.

The first one is a sterling silver modernist pendant with a bezel set green - brown swirled stone cabochon.

Measures 1 3/8" across and 1 5/8" high including the round bale. Due to the large bale it could be worn on a chain or neck ring. The central section swings for an interesting effect.

A fine, hand hammered modernist sterling silver collar necklace and hook bracelet by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). Thick hammered sterling wires gently curved and flattened.

The necklace measures about 12" around with an opening of about 2". Measures 1/4" at the widest. Probably better for a slender neck although can be adjusted somewhat.

The bracelet measures about 7 1/4" around the inside, hard to get an exact measurement due to the curves...

This ring made by Miguel Martinez is such a striking creative piece of seeing a stone an letting the rock speak. The band flows from underneath to the front to hold in the stone. The dimensions are 12.4 grams heavy and a size 8.5 which can be sized. The face is 1.25in. long and .75in. wide. This is an early piece of Miguels work and he became the principle designer of Rancho Allegre. Properly hallmarked as show. Fabulous and daring piece.

Vintage Georg Jensen Denmark Art Nouveau sterling and moonstone earrings. These have screw backs but could be converted for pierced ears without loss of hallmarks. Measuring 7/8" by 5/8", they weigh 8 grams total and are in fine original condition. Lovely clear blue moonstones. Charming blossom design.

A modernist heart shaped sterling silver pendant and /or curled brooch by noted mid century silversmith, Frances Holmes Boothby. May purchase individually or together.

The pendant measures 1 1/8" high and 1" across. Marked fhb, and Sterling on the back. Fine condition, just a few minor scratches and a little tarnish.

The curled brooch measures almost 2" long and 3/8" wide. Has a rollover clasp that holds securely. This brooch is also marked fhb and sterling...

This Scottish sterling Circa Dove gray Montrose agate anchor brooch is 1 7/8" x 1 1/8". Ca. 1880. Bright cut engraving.

This very Victorian grooming chatelaine is from the 1800s. It has a Chinese fish motif at the top, and dangling from that are 3 implements: a tweezers, one for cleaning nails, and an ear-cleaning device. (We saw a similar chatelaine on eBay, and the ear-cleaning implement was advertised as a device for opium users, but we don’t think so! However, as non-opium users, we could be wrong ….) It is unmarked but tests positive for silver, and with a patina consistent with age...

The leaf motif looks very much like the English jewelry maker by the name of Bernard Instone...

I have a weakness for Italian silver jewelry and vanity pieces from the opening decades of the 20th c. and enameled compacts with figural decoration are a big favorite of mine. I admittedly don’t “powder my nose” yet these small treasures are worthy of being proudly displayed as miniature works of art. The richly-colored, very nicely detailed courting scene at the center of the compact at hand is a marvel in and of itself...

Bracelet measures 7 1/4" long and almost 5/8" across. Has a snap in clasp that holds securely. Earrings measure 1" long and 5/8" at the widest. Clips hold tightly. Very nice condition, minor surface scratches. Nicely textured along the edges. Nice weight, quality set. Great mid century modernist design.

A hinged bangle of irregular, wavy design, solidly cast, by prominent Taxco designer Erika Hult de Corral. The spring mechanism is in good working order, keeping the bracelet securely in place. The bracelet has a 6 ¾-inch inner circumference, and is quite comfortable to wear. It bears the maker’s ‘Ric’ mark, as well as the Mexican eagle mark for sterling. Gross weight: 53.5 grams

A vintage modernist sterling silver necklace by Taxco artisan, Erika Hult de Corral. Has alternating sterling bars and dotted spheres. Marked Ric, Taxco SA, Hecho en Mexico and 925. Measures 15 3/4" long. Has some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Clasp snaps securely. Pre Eagle- Pre 1948. Classic RIC design. We have a pair of Ric earrings in another listing that would go well with this necklace. Will combine shipping.

A well crafted sterling silver brooch signed Sterling Handwrought and The Gorham Co. Probably executed by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer did work for Gorham and also worked for Georg Jensen, USA. Measures 1 5/8" across. Has a three dimensional repousse design, possibly a stylized feather or apple. Dark patina, has some tarnish. Fine example of Arts and Crafts silver work.
