Richard Luney's paintings and prints of wildlife (generally African) have been popular since the 1970's. The poetic work dhows the birds taking refuge under a tree as a storm is perhaps approaching. Indeed, written in old hand on the backing is "The Storm" (probably not by the artist himself). The work is in very good shape save for some age browning of the paper most visible by comparing to the top inch or so which evidently at one time was hidden under a mat. The artist was obviously skilled in watercolor. A very peaceful scene for your wall.

I believe the artist is likely listed, considering the quality of the drawing. The paper was laid long ago on a board, as shown. Condition of the image area is excellent, with colors true and not faded.
