Difficult to get more NATURALISTIC than this Work with Multiple DEER in a Forest Setting. The Artist is REINHOLDT NIELSEN, 1891 - ?, well~listed Painter and known for DEER. Size is 20" X 30" Framed. Signed lower right by the Artist. 3 Small spots have been tape~covered on the back of the Canvas; otherwise in Excellent Condition. Date this work circa 1950, perhaps earlier. UNUSUALLY Nice Oil on Canvas by REINHOLDT NIELSEN, a Danish Painter.

Original oil painting on panel by Max Band (Lithuanian-American, 1900-1974), signed l.l. and dating from the forties or the fifties. In excellent condition and still in its original frame. 23" by 19" in its frame, 14" by 10" painting alone. Max Band is a well-known School of Paris artist. In 1886 he moved to Rome where his older brother Augustin, also a painter, was there since 1883 on a scholarship awarded to him by the government of Saragossa. It is mounted in its original stretcher and the canvas is glued to the stretcher. A replacement support has been added to the middle part of the canvas. From our European Collection, a very large late 17th century / early 18th century oil on canvas painting believed to be titled "A Warning to the Wicked Ezekiel." This piece is obviously in relic condition with several notable tears, punctures, and heavy soiling both front and back. This monogram appears on the lower right corner of the Flemish painting in our listing. We read this monogram to be two connecting masonic letter "R&D". We belive this represents the painters of this painting. A new outside lab confirms the color gold on this canvas altar painting is real "GOLD"!! After reviewing the Bob Jones Gallery 400+ collection of religious art, we found no real gold on canvas paintings in their collection. GOLD ON CANVAS IS SUPER RARE!!

Isaac Van Oosten, Flemish, 1613-1661,Attribution. Stunning Flemish/Dutch, 16-17th C. Oil on copper. This piece is in excellent condition. The in-frame dimensions are 38" W x 30" H while the painting itself measures 28 1/4" W x 20 1/4" H. The amazing frame is from the 19th Century and showcases the beauty of the piece. The subject matter is Venus (in her Half Shell chariot pulled by doves) finding Adonis dead after the hunt she begged him not to go on.
