Oil on canvas laid on board, 10 1/4" by 13 1/4" (16" by 19" as framed), the subject snow-streaked brown foothills of the Rocky Mountains in early spring, the main range of the mountains in the distance, signed at lower right in ink "J.D. We belive this represents the painters of this painting. A new outside lab confirms the color gold on this canvas altar painting is real "GOLD"!! After reviewing the Bob Jones Gallery 400+ collection of religious art, we found no real gold on canvas paintings in their collection. GOLD ON CANVAS IS SUPER RARE!!

Adolph Richard Fleischmann, American, 1892-1969. This Renoir like floral still life is perfect in its simplicity and strong colors. It is 18" by 14" in its original 5" gold leaf frame. It is signed lower left with the monogram RF in the tablecloth. Fleischman was born in Germany and exhibited in Europe and New York. His work is in museums in New York and east coast museums and in France and Germany. He is listed in Who was Who in American Art as well as in numerous publications.

Attractive nicely framed American watercolor that dates likely to about the 1940's, signed at lower left with what appears as "A W Edwards". The landscape measures 13" by 18" (21" by 25 1/4" framed). Obviously the artist was skilled at and trained in the use of watercolor. More research might turn up information on the identity of this painter. Condition is excellent. Hand drawn mat lines add to the appeal.

A c1795 continental miniature of a gent who looks somewhat disgruntled, possibly with the waistcoat with blue polka dots and the black jacket with pearl buttons that his wife picked out for him. The reverse of the painting has a "B" embroidered on pink silk fabric. Both the front and back have beveled glass. The diameter of the gilt metal case is 2".

A very fine miniature bust length silhouette on natural organic material by John Miers. The piece is signed along the left side of the bust line. As is usual with his best examples, this painting shows very finely executed bronzed work. The interior of the top is glazed with a hairwork enclosed. Sight size is 1 1/8" by 7/8", and the locket size is 1 1/4" by 1".

Both the miniature and the locket are in excellent condition, with no issues.
