This original etching is by Francisco de Goya. It is titled, "The Little Prisoner:" (Le Petit Prisonier). In Spanish title is, 'Tan Bárbara la Seguridad como el Delito': (The imprisonment is as barbarous as the crime). It captures and symbolizes Goya's ideas about the human condition and suffering: a poor soul, quite grim. It was first issued in Gazette des Beaux-Arts, vol. XXII, Paris, 1867. It is pre-framed. That actually etching measures 110mm x 85mm (approximately 4 1/8" x 3 1/8"...

What fun this print is—a swirl of kanji virtually unreadable but a delight to the eye. 79-9 was done in 1979 and measures 9.25in W x 10.75in H. The print is in excellent condition.

By the noted illustrator artist RICHARD STINE (1941-) this is a print, "I am an alien creature", hand signed in pencil at lower left near the printed signature. This does not seem to be a limited edition but it is hand signed. Stine is a familiar name due to his uniquely humorous and whimsical images, which though cartoonish delve into philosophy, and, an online description writes, "love, art, freedom, isolation, desire, conflict, dreams, creativity"...

A truly beautiful circa 1890 print of elegant Parisians strolling past and perusing the famous Bouquiniste bookstalls along the banks of the Seine River, not signed in plate nor in pencil but certainly by a listed or even important and well-known artist. To date, reverse image searches and other internet research have, frustratingly, not revealed the identity of that artist. There are no watermarks...

For the Andrew Wyeth collector, a color collotype print "Arthur Cleveland", circa 1965, from a limited edition of only 100, **with INK SIGNED-by-the-artist label** affixed to the backing. The print measures 26" by 18 3/4" and frame is 1 1/2" wide on a side. This was acquired in Connecticut; the seller stated that it had been acquired from a Boston gallery in the 1960's by her parents, who had unfortunately trimmed off the margins to make it fit the frame...

Original old photo of the imposing Palace of Fine Arts building in the Marina section of San Francisco, the photo originally in a brown tone, enhanced tastefully with light blue tints. The building was erected for the 1915 Panama Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco, and the complex is all that remains of the construction undertaken for that event. Today it and the park-like grounds remain a graceful and familiar part of the San Francisco urban landscape...
