A quality woodblock print on rice paper featuring young Asian males frolicking on a street, pencil signed in the lower margin below the present mat by the noted political activist-artist of South Korea, Hong Sung-Dam (born 1955). The work, about 10" by 13 3/4" inside the present mat and a bit larger under it, and 16" by 21" as framed, is signed in pencil at lower right, where there is also a red artist's stamp, and there is more writing at lower left under the mat, in Korean...

A lithograph print of a typical northern New Mexican adobe house of the Santa Fe and Taos region, signed in the plate at lower center with what appears as "J Hill" and dated nearby 48. The black and white image measures 6 1/4" by 9 1/4" inside the mat, 15" by 17 1/2" in simple black wood strip frame. Not examined out of frame but appears very clean and fresh. I have not been able to locate a listed artist by this name that would correspond to this work.

A clean example of "Whosoever Believeth", circa 1992, a limited edition print after a painting by the well known contemporary artist, who signs "G. Harvey" (GERALD HARVEY JONES, born 1933). The mat is affixed over the print with tape in places; the sheet measures " by ", and size is " by " inside the mat. The work was framed in 1950 in Abilene, Texas, according to the stamp on the reverse, and in that time the simple wood frame has loosened up and the top bar is missing...

Haku Maki liked to do prints of turtles or tortoises. This one, Poem 70-6, has two turtles, the smaller drawn to resemble the hand-written kanji for turtle. The print is 197 of 202 and measures 12in x 12in.

Large fine English antique mid 19th century print of mounted riders in traditional red coats, and their trained hounds, in an extensive landscape, the title "John Josselyn Esq. and the Suffolk Hounds", engraved by Charles Mottram (1807-1876) after the painting by Edward Robert Smythe (1810-1899). The print, mounted long ago to a board, was published circa 1865 by Henry Graves & Co. of Pall Mall...

This silkscreen offering is said by some to depict Kabuki make-up. It is 8sq inches and in excellent condition. See picture 4, the title, where Maki seems to have written Kuma 92/--his numeral 1 was usually a straightforward vertical 1.

Etching in dark brownish-black ink, 14 3/8" by 10 1/2" inside the mat (19 3/4" by 15 1/2" as framed), the print numbered at lower left 37/100, while additionally signed and dated there as well in the plate, while titled in the plate "Notre Dame #2" at lower right. This is likely by an artist considered Canadian, CAROLINE HELENA WILKINSON ARMINGTON (1875-1939) rather than by American CAROLINE ARMINGTON (1898-1986), though records for the two seem to be hopelessly entangled...
