Chromolithograph late 19th century print after a work by the noted German landscape artist THEODORE WEBER (1838-1907), the scene of the Italian coast, figures walking up a hillside road leading away from the sea, an ancient church steeple at left. The piece measures 18 3/4" by 12 1/2" inside the old mat, 28" by 21" in old gold frame, which shows its age with various chips and losses. Weber's oils and watercolors sell to about the $10,000 level at auctions...

Lovis Corinth, German, 1858-1925, "Dame im Gartenstuhl," Etching and drypoint, early proof of this rare image, image size 7 7/8 x 11 7/8 inches, 1911, cat: Schwartz-76, inscribed "probedruck" (test print) l.l. and signed l.r. both in red crayon, blindstamp l.l. just below image. Corinth began his art career studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich and went on to study under Bouguereau at the Academie Julian in Paris...
Stated "One of twenty" prints by illustrator and children's book publisher. Helena Chase Johnson. The print is also marked "For Norman" along with her signature. An interesting note -- Chase owned The Little Hotel by the Sea (located at the Grande Colonial Hotel in La Jolla, Calif.) The hotel boasted of having a beautiful six-passenger mahogany elevator, making it "The Littlest Hotel in the World with an Elevator."
This print, done in 1969, has—Dan Tretiak writes—an abstract child and a reddish moon. He also saw the blue seemingly changing from light to dark. The print is horizontal, measuring 15in W x 11.5in H.
Early and rarely encountered oversized Japanese limited edition sosaku hanga “kappa-ban” (stencil print) by Yoshitoshi Mori (1898-1992) depicting tradesmen. The print is pencil-signed “Yoshitoshi Mori” at the lower right, dated ’68, and numbered 28/60. The artist’s red seal is above the signature. The paper measures 26 1/2”V x 21 1/2”H. The print is in good overall condition. The portion of the paper edge that was previously covered by a mat is very sightly darker...
This print is 13 inches wide x 20 75 tall. it is a spectacular Big Blue. The kanji reads words to the effect Give an inch, take a mile. Maki produced this print in 1971. It is number30 of 105.

This is a fine expressive drypoint etching by British artist Sir William Russell Flint. The title is: Clatter and Whirl, Granada, it was created and printed in 1931 in an edition of 75. This image is hand signed, with sepia ink, numbered as XV and inscribed as using An antique laid type sheet from 1744, "D.R." The image measures 8 1/4X13 7/8 inches, printed with a brown toned ink, a very rich impression.
