There are very minor edge tears and skins in a few places where this was crudely taped in the past and small moisture stain as shown...

A Dutch 17th century etching of a standing horse near a humble abode, 6 3/4" by 7 3/4" (14" by 15 1/2" in 20th century appropriate black frame), unsigned, and with no initials or other indication as to authorship. The work bears old pencil notations on the reverse side of the mat; there appear to be names of potential artists that were pondered by a previous observer in my position (including, it appears, question marks to himself)...

Each is pencil numbered at lower left out of editions of 500, and signed at lower right in pencil, by the noted French 20th century impressionist painter CHARLES BLONDIN (1913-1991)...

Fine etching of windmills in a landscape in a brownish-black ink, 9" by 11" (14 1/2" by 16 3/4`" framed), pencil signed at lower right by listed artist DIRK BAKSTEEN (1886-1971). The quality of the work is excellent, reminding the viewer of Rembrandt and other better known artists, though Baksteen is a somewhat obscure figure today. Born in Rotterdam and educated in art there at the academy, by 1912 he was in Mol, Belgium, becoming part of the "School of Mol" landscape artists...

Sepia-toned photograph of coconut palms in Hawaii, seemingly in a rice paddy type setting, framed apparently circa 1930 give or take a few years (there being an original old framer/art supply label from Pacific Picture Framing at 1050 Nuuanu St., ("below the hotel"), Honolulu, T.H. (Territory of Hawaii). This would appear to be a downtown Honolulu address, perhaps known today as Nuuanu AVENUE. The exact age of the photo is hard to determine. It is in excellent condition...

An original poster issued by the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1967, to advertise the Jackson Pollock exhibition which took place from April 5 to June 4 of that year. The poster seems to be scarce today; I was not able to find another available copy in a quick online search. Pollock is perhaps the pre-eminent figure of the Abstract Expressionist movement, his paintings now among the most coveted in the world of art...

Etching on very thin paper, "Charles Baudelaire, de Face", 1865, later, likely posthumous impression, by the famous French artist EDOUARD MANET (1832-1883). The work measures 3 3/4" by 3 1/4" inside the plate mark, and the sheet measures 8 1/4" by 6 1/4". This is Guerin #38 in the catalogue raisonne, and probably the 4th (final) state. The paper being very thin and flimsy, would lead me to believe this would NOT be a twentieth century restrike...

A most interesting Mid-Century multiple: a "cast stencil", three dimensional print featuring a grid pattern of roughly rectangular shapes, signed at lower right in pencil and numbered 10/75 in pencil at lower left by noted Arkansas-associated artist PAUL MAXWELL (1925-2015). This is a typical image by the artist and sculptor. A view of the "Kolk" in Rotterdam, Holland, titled "Rotterdam Kolk" at lower left, plate signed with conjoined initials (tiny) and pencil signed "Marius Janssen" at lower right margin, 12 1/4" by 18 1/2" as framed. The Kolk is a familiar part of the center of this historic city, which suffered severe damage in World War II. A vintage woodcut print in black with touches of yellow and red in the windows of the picturesque seaside structures, unsigned, titled in the image "NOEL", white speckles (sprayed?) indicating snowflakes, 12 1/2" by 9 1/2" framed. The scene resembles Maine villages such as Port Clyde or Castine. Likely a work from that region, circa 1940's, possibly 1930's. I opened up the backing and found no further information.

Original offset lithograph poster for the Tate Gallery, London, 1980 exhibition "Travels with Pen, Pencil and Ink, Drawings and Prints 1961-1979". The exhibition took place from July 2 through August 3, 1980, when Hockney would have been in only his early forties. This poster is very clean and fresh, and attractively framed in brushed silvery metal. There is a little even vertical rumpling of the paper----just enough to prove its earned vintage status at roughly forty years of age. "Printed ...
