Interesting, graphically arresting, colorful original lithograph from 1978, 27" by 19 1/2" inside the mat, protected in simple metal frame and plexiglas (not assembled currently), of a 1978 exhibition at the Museo Espanol de Arte Contemporaneo in Madrid. The upper quarter contains most of the print, the middle is the colorful area, and at bottom in large print is the word "MIRO"...

Lithograph print, circa 1970, "Birds of Peace", signed at lower right by its creator, the noted Jewish-American artist Chaim Gross (1904-1991), and numbered at lower left margin 135/150. The print, 15" by 11 3/4" inside the mat, 23" by 19" as framed, is in excellent condition; evidently it was framed and presented in Chicago in 1974 to a gentleman presented with the Humanitarian Award by The American Jewish Committee...

A copy of "Yosemite and the Range of Light", 1979, 12 1/2" by 16", published by the New York Graphic Society, Boston, 1979, stated second printing, HAND SIGNED on an inserted label of Time-Life Books, Carmel, California, 1980. The book has the original dust jacket which like the rest of the book is not in perfect condition. Dust jacket has small stain at lower left and general signs of moderate wear and slightly light-struck at far left...

One of Maki’s favorite themes was the image shown here. Some outstanding ones are shown in the listing. I reckon Maki did about 25 different prints with the theme Child. Several little children can be seen swimming in the image in frame 9. The child in the right of this list panel is the image imprinted in the cover of Festive Wine, to which Maki contributed 21 images in 1969.

Pencil signed and numbered lithograph print of a Civil War subject (Confederate soldiers with their flag, surrounded by gigantic black-eyed Susans), 13" by 11", 19" by 17" framed, by the well listed Louisiana artist ROLLAND HARVE GOLDEN (1931-2019). The juxtaposition of the oversized flowers and Confederate warriors is in keeping with Golden's self-described "borderline surrealism"...
