Gandhara Kingdom stucco head of Buddha mounted, 3/4th Century, condition: good, left ear damaged and a few inconsequential nicks, common considering the age of this fine sculpture, size" H. 12cm x W. 8cm x D. 11cm. The idealized style is reminiscent of Greek Hellenistic sculpture which strongly influenced the Buddhist imagery of Central Asia and in particular of Gandharan artists.

This incredible Clovis point, found on the Little Missouri River in Nevada County, Arkansas in 1928, is made from highly translucent novaculite of which only a few are known to exist. I had it authenticated at a forensic laboratory in Santa Fe New Mexico. The COA is included. The point is 3 1/2" long, 1" wide or 8.98 cm in length, 2.4 cm in width and 6.2 mm thick. The body is composed of two phoenixes, the heads of the birds naturally forming the handles. The stone is very hard, green speckled with translucent white. The cover is also formed of 2 birds, it is not pierced so it is possible that it is not a censer, although it can be used without a cover. It is placed on a finely carved hardwood base. There are some numbers stamped inside, probably so as not to mix up the bases. China 20th century around the 70s. Good condition. No restoration or gluing. T...
