This buddha sits in padmasana (interlocking lotus position) upon a double lotus base while displaying vitarka mudra with the right hand, and holding what is probably a kalasa pot in the left hand.

Very chic mixed materials big clip earrings in dark silvertone metal openwork with large clear Lucite faceted drops. Probably French. Elegant Patrice, as usual. Handsome three dimensional lion figure on thick serpentine pendant with carnelian and amethyst dangle. Necklace beads are grade A amethyst. Note beautiful backing on the pendant. Necklace is 17" long, end to end; pendant, including dangle, is 3 3/4" by 1 3/8". Chunky clip earrings are of Wyoming jade and amethyst and are 1 1/8" by 7/8".

Typical of Patrice's fine design, always rich in the use of semi-precious stones, this pendant necklace and earrings is a beautiful example of her work. In this set she uses serpentine jade, Chinese turquoise, tiger iron jasper, hsiu jade, vintage German glass and brass. The necklace is 17" around and the chunky monkey pendant is 2 1/4" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3/4" front to back. The clip earrings are 1" long and 3/4" wide.

American designer Patrice has created this charming pair in natural stones and brass.
