A while ago, I was lucky enough to buy a group of early Jean Paul Gaultier jewelry. The US rep for Gaultier had it stashed away in a box and was happy to find someone who would appreciate it. These earrings were part of the group. They are 2 5/8" (7 cm) long. The top circle is 1" (2.9 cm) in diameter. The larger circle is a hair less than1 3/8" (3.9 cm) wide. These earrings are "dead stock" and have never been worn.

Maya began creating purses in 1985. Beautiful from the start, her purses have become more intricate and glamorous with each passing year. This purse is from her latest collection and shows butterfly, flower and dragonfly designs imbedded in the resin body of the purse. The surface displays hand carved flowers and a lovely dragonfly. 6" wide, 5 1/4" high and 2 1/2" front to back. The chain is antiqued metal with semi-precious stones and it 45 1/2" long.

Reminiscent of some Scandinavian pieces from the 1960s, this more modern version of the cattail pin features two freshwater pearls. The stems are gold-filled wires flattened at the top to secure the pearls. The back shows an embossed maker’s mark of a tree in a circle; there is an incised copyright mark with the date 1993 and other hand-markings that include an ST, possibly for sterling (the leaves test as sterling).
