Mammy's wonderful, smiling face is hand-stitched and her clothes are machine sewn. Her blouse is seersucker, and her head, arms, skirt, apron, and cap are cotton. Her head, arms, and upper torso are stuffed with cotton batting...

Measuring approximately 3" x 3", this rarely found tin mechanical toy features a monkey at the unfortunate mercy of a black lady hitting him with a mallet!
Unmarked, the toy was likely produced in post WWII Germany. It is in wonderful, barely-used condition with just the tiniest degree of scratching wherever metal rubs metal during toy movement...
Tin has some wear to it but really nice Green Version that is pretty rare for this tin that originated from Australia

A scarce 4-1/4" vintage late 1930s-mid 1940s Mary Grayo stoppered glass fur perfume bottle with the original label. This company was in business in Monte Carlo for a very short time, from the late 1930s to the mid-1940s. The label has losses but the Mary Grayo name is mostly quite legible; the bottle is molded with a 45 on the bottom. It has remnants of the original perfume, which must have smelled wonderful in its day...
Measuring just 10 inches in height, this diminutive, vintage 1940's, Mammy Bottle Doll is in near mint condition, with nicely detailed, machine-stitched clothing and a very darling face! Mammy bottle dolls were constructed to be quite functional; they were used as doorstops back in the day. Their sand-filled bottles added enough weight to readily keep that door in place.
Her cute face is composed of pearl button eyes with red fabric mouth...

Very nice vintage tin child’s sand pail decorated with a patriotic lithograph of an American eagle in red, white and blue. The patriotic theme is unusual. The pail is marked by Ohio Art. Circa 1940s. Wear and rusting from normal use, but no big dings and cracks. The graphics are nice and bright. 6-1/8” high to top rim; 6-1/4” top diameter.
