This delightful, 1920's, hand-painted, Folk Art-inspired, English pull toy features a darling horse and jockey!

When pulled by its string, the toy rolls along on its metal and rubber wheels, causing the jockey to raise and lower himself off of the horse as the horse makes a coordinated "jumping" motion as his front legs raise up slightly.

The toy is labeled "Loros Bros Ltd London England" within a small triangle that is painted on one side of the metal supporting rim (see photos)...

A tall, thin wood carving of a stylized human face, 15" by 3", possessing a great primitive vibe. This is a perfect decorative addition to that thin "problem" wall. I do not know in which part of Africa this may have been created. It is likely mid to late 20th century in age. A thin nylon thread remaining around the top will facilitate your hanging it from a nail or peg.

Constructed of celluloid with a metal back and pin to allow attachment to one's clothing, this diminutive mourning pin measures just 7/8th inch in diameter.

A Niagara Falls Scottie dog souvenir figurine from the 1910 1920 era. This 5-1/2" long and 3-7/8" tall cast pot metal (probably) figurine has an attached planchet depicting Niagara Falls N.Y. on it's back and the modelling and detail is quite fine. It has been painted gold (possibly not original) and it is unsigned.
